All four views accept their point of view as what God said and what God's view is.
No doubt you believe one of them since there is no fifth alternative.
I'm wondering which one it is that you do believe.
I don't know what they are. I don't care what they are. I only care about what God say's on the issue.
The topic on this thread is the fact that "Universalism was Not the predominant belief of the Early Church. Eternal Punishment for the wicked was!" Now based on that fact what does your link have to do with the OP?

Balunman, if you don't care to read the information given, then you will not know what that information has to do with the OP. No one can force you to try to read or understand.
Just an observation.
The problem when you say "I only care about what God says", is this: how do you know what God says if you don't look at all the information.

The idea that this link's contents is erroneous is only an opinion.
Others will read it and come to a different conclusion just like you and everyone else comes to a different conclusion about what God is saying about salvation in this link.
I think the comparison is valid.

I will point out the first link you give must be wrong if it say's universalism was ever part of the Christian church.
I have not said that the link's contents are erroneous. I have only said I have not read the link, I don't care what the link say's and anything on the link does not change what God has said should it differ. I cannot comment on any comparison they may make having not read it. What more can I say about something I have not seen?
Man's "view" of salvation is irrelevant. Only what God says about it is worth our time and attention. Since you say the link gives 4 views I would assume that 3 of them must be wrong. All could be but not all can be right. Sounds like someone needs to stop worrying about man's views and get God's view.

The idea that the contents of this link is wrong is only an opinion with which many disagree. Universalism: The Prevailing Doctrine Of the Christian ChurchDuring Its First Five-Hundred Years http://hellbusters.8m.com/updcontents.html
All four opinions in the following link are claimed to be God's view of salvation according to believers of them. There is no fifth alternative. You must believe one of them and I wonder why you are unwilling to tell me which one of the four you believe?
WHAT CHRISTIANS BELIEVE TODAY – FOUR VIEWS
ABSOLUTE ASSURANCE IN JESUS CHRIST http://www.richardwaynegarganta.com/4ViewsOfSalvation.htm
Both links represent opinions, and each person will make up their own mind about which opinions they think are right.
Both links express opinions that are strongly believed.
The relevance is that just like there are four opinions about what God says about salvation and you think you are right about yours, there are also two opinions about what this link proves, and you think you are right about yours. http://hellbusters.8m.com/updcontents.html
Each interested student will decide for themselves.

Only ONE of the early theological schools was based on Eternal torment . . . Rome (carthage was subsumed when the papacy was assigned to the Bishop of Rome). It is the anti-Christ doctrine that has become the majority in these "latter days" since the third century Council of Nicea.
Name something the modern church does that was from the early church?
Pray, sing praises, come together to worship, helping the needy, bringing the little children to Jesus, making disciples of all nations ... just for starters.

And how do you intend to make disciples of ALL NATIONS or ALL PEOPLE with your Theology of Eternal Damnation?

How many times are you going to cut and past that same post? You know that violates the rules of the forum don't you? Why do you willfully violate the agreement you made? What does this tell us about you?
