You are O.K. with all mankind being made sinners because of what Adam did.

You are O.K. with all mankind being condemned because of what Adam did.

When you are all alone, with no distractions, you might ask yourself why you dissaprove of all makind being made righteous because of what Jesus did.

You might ask yourself why you dissaprove of all mankind having their lives justified due to what Christ did.

Rom 5:18 Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all
mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all
mankind for life's justifying."

Rom 5:19 For even as, through the disobedience of the one man, the
many were constituted sinners, thus also, through the obedience of the
One, the many shall be constituted just."

Beautiful words, Eusebius!

Why is it, that man has no difficulty in seeing all of his brothers and sisters guilty children of Adam; but when he is supposed to see them as justified by God's grace in Jesus, he cannot believe it!

I believe Paul's revelations of Jesus Christ trumped the words of Jesus in the days of His flesh. He knew things that most Christians would never believe today. If Paul spoke one more line than what was written in his epistles, he would be kicked out of church and labeled as a heretic.

Jesus had "much" to tell His disciples, but He had to wait until they were ready. But when Pentecost came, they knew more about Jesus than before. They knew a Higher message that they hadn't heard while Jesus was in His flesh.

So too, we are now the body of Jesus. And our understanding must climb higher than what was given at Nazareth. Jesus' ministry 2,000 years ago has never finished, and was only the beginning. Rather than staying focused on what happened 2,000 years ago, when the wine was new, we need to appreciate that the same wine is now aging, and getting better.
Adam's sin and death passed over all mankind; Christ's righteousness and Life is now beginning to pass over all mankind, replacing what Adam did.

We can see the results, too. Today, people are much less tolerant of wickedness. Groups are being created all over the world to protest and speak out against injustice in all corners of the earth. Violence committed in the name of religion is being exposed for what it is: violence. People are fed up. What used to be said in the ear is now being shouted from the housetops. People are getting tired of the oppression and deception, in both state and religious seats. They are beginning to cry out for righteousness and truth to be told. These may indeed be the birthpangs of Christ's Kingdom on earth.

Blessings!
brian

Paul shows in Romans 5:12 that due to what Adam did, death passed through into all mankind and due to that, all sinned.

Paul does not show that, because all sin that that is the reason why death passed through into all mankind.

If we look at the end of Romans 5:12 we read in the "Authorized Version" this: "for that all sinned." It almost makes you think that because all sinned that that is the reason why death passed through into all mankind.

We need to add some words to make that phrase work to accord with what Paul wrote: "[and it is] for that [reason] all sinned."
If the theologian is correct that all die because all sinned, that would contradict what Paul just wrote. He just wrote that due to what Adam did wrong, death passed through into all mankind.
Now then, if there really is such a thing as eternal torment, and if God really is going to send the mass of mankind there for eternity for their sins, can we not say that God is going to send them there due to what Adam did?

After all, Paul did write that due to what Adam did all mankind got condemned (Romans 5:18). Is that fair? Is that fair especially if all mankind are condemned to eternal torment due to what Adam did?

Is it fair that all mankind were MADE SINNERS due to what Adam did? especially when the result is supposedly eternal torment?

So if it is fair that all mankind get condemned due to what Adam did and if it is fair that all mankind are made sinners due to what Adam did (Romans 5:18,19) why oh why is it not fair that all mankind are made righteous due to what a greater than Adam did? Why oh why is it not fair that all mankind get their lives justified to what what a greater than Adam did?

Now God looks righteous! Paul shows how God is righteous by making things right for all mankind.

If everyone is already righteous through Jesus Christ then why do we go about as if some are not?

Because God calls the things that are not as though they were. Abraham called himself a Father of man nations before he was.

When anyone asked Abraham what his name was, he replied "Father of Many Nations".

He was formerly Abram, but God called him Abraham, and to the believer all that matters is WHO God says I AM.As a man thinks in his heart so is he.
What are we thinking ?

Maybe "a father of many nations" is what we should be telling people when they ask our names!!

Great reflection Paul!
