I found this statement very interesting. While there are definitely certain doctrines or teachings I could possibly be persuaded to change my mind about, the existance of a Higher Power is for me, like you, "one of those things that i cannot unbelieve."

This is the case for ALL true belief . . . which is why the silly idea that you can CHOOSE what to believe makes no sense whatsoever. We can only choose to intellectually accept what we have no true beliefs about. If we have to choose among two or more possibilities . . . we do not truly believe ANY of them.

I'm really curious to hear from the rest of you. I know there are a lot of posters who believe all of humanity will ultimately be reconciled to God. Please... if this is what you believe, I would love to hear your thoughts on how you believe this will be accomplished.
