The health concern did not increase or decrease at that time, so the only thing which changed was what I already mentioned, and that is what led to me quitting.

Pull for the server position. Less drinks involved. You also won't be putting yourself in a position where you are surrounded by drunk company potentially belittling your faith with false accusations that they heard on TV or religious dogma someone heard once in some book regarding your faith (Divinci code, Zeitgeist, etc).

In a server position, you can leave the talk professional to the food and move on if it's a tough crown. As a Bartender you are surrounded many times with bad company. With bartender, many times you have to play counselor. No one's really interested in counseling (give them a card to repent from their sins and accept Jesus as the only way to the father), only you talking and consoling them. Telling them what they want to hear. That's the game usually.

I'm in a similar position. I've been training to enter a grad program. Due to the epiphany that America and the world is on the verge of economic collapse, I've decided to quit playing the lie. That's only a very small portion of the lie though on a grand scale. Digging a hole and going no where as opposed to digging a hole and getting buried. Not like financial numbers matter anyways. There all made up digits put into numbers by elite bankers in high places. The media shapes not informs opinion anymore as it is run by these same people. The dollar is on the verge of being replaced, and its value is going to go waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy down.

Get a server job, feed your family, stock up food and water, put the loans on forbearance/IBR/deferment, and most of all pray to God for deliverance out of the waterfall that's coming down the pipeline. Did someone teach you that if you pray, then you don't need to apply for jobs? Why can't you do both, - pray and look for jobs?

If you don't believe in prayer, then don't pray, it is that simple. If I was looking for a job, I would pray about it, and then I would roll up my sleeves and start looking.

No one taught me that. I never said I didn't believe in prayer, I explained my point.

You can pray all you like and how you like, but if your praying and you can't figure out why things aren't going how you like then you have been taught the wrong application of prayer and that is just how it is.

That was the context of my comments. It is simple, if you think prayer replaces going out and doing something, then you might as well not bother.
