That Christ's body was stolen is an unmitigated lie!! (crucified, beliefs, priests)

Mt 28:11-15
Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him [away] while we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

There are at least three rational reasons why saying Christ's body was stolen is a huge lie!

1.) How could a 'strong & brave' Roman soldier fall asleep while on duty?! For those who did were executed! no mercy!

2.) If they were sleeping, indeed (which is untrue!), how did they know it was the disciples that 'had stolen the body'?

3.) If they saw it was the disciples indeed who had done it', it means they were not sleeping, then, why didn't they stop them stealing the body?

and it has been easy to make people believe this lie! people are more inclined to listen to lies! FACT: Jesus Christ, the Son of God is risen, sitting at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us! and His glorious return is near!

Well the problem is that there is no proof beyond the bible that there were any guards to begin with.Its not like we have press clippings from a 2 thousand year old copy of the 'jerusalum post' with a byline announcing that 'someone stole the body of Jesus'.Maybe the guards were executed...or there were no guards to begin with....many don't believe that Jesus even existed,therefore was never crucified or resurrected.The problem with the truth or lies argument is that without any real evidence there is much in religion that must be accepted totally on faith.If someone believes a falsehood then they aren't lying...they are merely incorrect.If you can't show evidence to counter their position,you can't prove them wrong.....you could in fact be wrong...but you wouldn't be lying.The things you state as 'fact' are based on your faith they are true,and statements that others believed to be true....which doesn't make them facts,just beliefs.....many on here feel they carry the mantle of religious truth,while all of us merely possess religious opinion..
