I believe that miracles, such a healings, are still available through prayer.
Some Christian (and other) religions do not.

What are your thoughts?

A poll with no poll

But NO, wishing accomplishes nothing except wasting time and detrimental if it delays or prevents action.

Asheville. Do you believe that "praying" equates to "wishing"?

Yep. I see virtually no difference, other that praying is 'addressed' to a deity, and wishing is not.

Jesus Spirit heals the body and prevents sickness and open doors that are closes and rips any dark spirit that comes to here..... Jesus spirit gives here understanding and wisdom in the studies of His Word and lead my path to all righteousness .....Glory to God........... but I live in a world were my witness goes to unhearing ears and uncaring logic were when sickness come it is best to run to the Doctor than ask Jesus for advice into His plan .....Still the church were I go most people have current witness of Jesus in their lives Blessing them ....

The fact that anyone picks anything but the 3rd option gives me dim hope for the human race right now.

I am thinking that some Christian, Protestant churches don't exactly believe in miracles today. For example, the Church of Christ (independent). I may be wrong about that, but it comes to mind.

Sure! and I know someone to whom Jesus promised that he will heal her and that her healing will be a sign, probably the final 'public' warning just before the Rapture. She'll have a short ministry of her healing and that Jesus is coming soon!
