It is the theme on nearly every page of the Bible. God is Holy! and much more. God's love does not equal religious tolerance claiming all religions worship the same God! Peace, love, and unity won't cut it. It will be a false peace, and you will experience the wrath of a Holy Righteous Judge for rejecting him!
All one has to do is pick up a Bible and read the character of our creator. Sin is what he hates. For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23 KJV)! The punishment, suffering, and crucifixion of the Messiah Jesus was what we deserve! All that don't repent and put their faith in him will feel the wrath of a Holy God for rejecting his provision for their sin. Repent before it's too late! His mercy is still being offered. In hell their won't be any mercy only suffering. Now is the time.
Yes, God hates sin! We ought not to be afraid of offending people; rather, they need to be offended about what their sins are doing to their souls. I don't mean to continually beat them over the head, but firmly let them know that their sins are sending them to an eternal hell. They may not heed the warning immediately, but the Holy Spirit can turn that message over and over in their minds to eventually bring them to repentance; it may take years. It's amazing how God's Holy Spirit works on sinners; some are plucked from the fire at the last moment as they were about to drop into hell. God's mercy is amazing to those who will heed.

No one is about to be dropped into hell. We're already here in hell as soon as we are born into this corrupt world. If the fearful fear-mongers would worry about getting rid of their own sin and stop focusing on the sin of others, they'd be closer to getting on that narrow path that leads to life. That's the way I see it.
Hell is eternal. There is no more mercy. False teachers using one-verse theology to promote their doctrine will be there.
