Off topic? Goes to the evidence of antichrist from the bible. The whole OT is Anti-christ. IMO.
The book of Ezra does not say that Ezra rewrote the Torah. It is the Apocryphal book of Forth Ezra (14:44-48) which makes that claim. It is not Scripture. It does not belong in the Bible.

Nehemiah 8:1, which is Scripture says 'And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses (the five books of Moses) which the LORD had given to Israel.

No, the Old Testament is not anti-christ. That you would impugn the word of God is not unexpected from you.

Peace!
Moses collected Israel's traditions and records to compose his work. This was done under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit which guaranteed the accuracy of the Torah. Although Joshua may have been directed by God to record the death of Moses, it is equally possible that God may have led Moses to write it in advance. God had revealed to Moses his approaching death.

Any message that refutes the Bible as uninspired, corrupted is from the anti-christ message.

Any message other than by faith alone, Christ alone is from the anti-christ message

Any message that Jesus isn't God is from the anti-christ message

Any message that Jesus >>did not<< rose physically from the dead is from the message anti-christ message

Any message that usurps that faith must be present prior to death in which one must be saved is from the anti-christ message

There were\are many Jews who believed in Jesus...read Acts
There were\are many gentiles (Greeks) who believed.. read Paul's inspired letters
----- also there are many Jews who reject Jesus...read Isaiah
----- also there are many gentiles who reject Jesus.. read Matthew 25

You will have to stop believing and retaining the lies, if you truly desire to hear the Gospel.
The process of division means: cutting-off or separating the evil from that which is good.
And both are present for our Teaching, Correcting, Rebuking, and Training in the Way, Truth, and Life of Righteousness.

...but in vain do they worship me, teaching the commandments of men.
Amen.

Did you think that it wouldn't be noticed that you deliberately left out the very first words that Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 'IT IS WRITTEN, 'Man shall not live on bread (physical food) alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (God's spoken and written word).

Jesus was quoting Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.'

And so the Scriptures put the lie to your statement.

Jesus' words never went against Scripture. Jesus always referred to the Scriptures and gave them the highest authority. He used Scripture against Satan when tempted by the devil in the desert. Jesus said, ''IT IS WRITTEN'.

You deliberately twist and distort the scriptures in your denial of the truth. For example you write: "Man shall not live by bread (scripture) alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth (Spirit) of God."

That statement is a lie from Satan . Every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God is a reference to God's spoken or written word. You have in the past called the Scriptures stale air, and stale manna. Your attitude toward the word of God is known to those who have read your posts.

You say that the Scriptures cannot save you. But 2 Tim 3:14 says the following. 'You however continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them; 15] and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16] All Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17] the the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

The Scriptures speak out against you. You are a false teacher and a deceiver. God will deal with you as such.
When you finally know Jesus Christ within you, everything will make sense, and you won't need to wrest the scriptures as you do, Mike.

Until then, you will continue to do the works of your father, just as the Jews who persecuted Christ himself did the works of their father, despising the goodness of God.

Blessings to you friend,
brian

It's truely sad that fundies need to dictate to others what is or isn't of God when they themselves are not perfect. Jesus gave two commandments "Love God and Love your neighbor". He also stated that under thse two commands hang ALL the law. Seems to me that the anti-christ would be those who bring in their own idea of what God wants and speak for Him when they are not perfect. Jesus not once said that the bible was to be included in those commands. If the bible was the only source of inspiration, then Jesus would have acknowledged it. He didn't so I'm gonna stick with the love God and each other commands and throw the rest of the book in the trash cause Love is what makes the universe complete. Not the bible or any other man made idea. Just Love because that is who we are and that is who God is.

Indeed. The Jews were scandalized by Jesus' audacity to declare the newer things of the Spirit. Religious hypocrisy always persecutes the Spirit, and it is this same spirit of worship of dead lettters that will persecute God until He takes it out of the way and makes them to know the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Blessings,
brian

It seems that anyone who doesn't accept "their" version of biblical truth is the anti-christ. Since that is the case...I will happily continue to be the anti-christ to them...for "their" truth is truly BAD NEWS!

Did Moses Write Genesis? - Answers in Genesis

And this is off topic.
That is nothing more than a huge FALSE STATEMENT which has been THOROUGHLY PROVEN to be UNTRUE and I sincerely
question your motives behind sticking by such a FALSE STATEMENT...why would you do that??????? Why would you mislead people in such a way??????? What is your agenda??????

Actually, when we read 2Cor 13 and 1John 4, we see that early believers were warning the church of what true antichrist is: not knowing and feeling Jesus Christ within us.

Man is God's temple. Paul tells us this at least 3 times in 2Cor. That isn't just nice rhetoric, either. God in man is the mystery of the Gospel.

And some "Christians" are denying the Lord that bought them, simply because they do not know Him within their hearts (yet).

Blessings in Christ,
Brian
