Man is God's temple. Paul tells us this at least 3 times in 2Cor. That isn't just nice rhetoric, either. God in man is the mystery of the Gospel.

And some "Christians" are denying the Lord that bought them, simply because they do not know Him within their hearts (yet).

I absolutely AGREE 100% with you Brian. That is the GOOD NEWS!!!!! Sadly, the GOOD NEWS has been so mangled by the precepts, doctrine and dogma of man...that it has turned into BAD NEWS and misleads many by telling them to look outside themselves for something that lives WITHIN THEM.

Did you think that it wouldn't be noticed that you deliberately left out the very first words that Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 'IT IS WRITTEN, 'Man shall not live on bread (physical food) alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (God's spoken and written word).

Jesus was quoting Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.'

And so the Scriptures put the lie to your statement.

Jesus' words never went against Scripture. Jesus always referred to the Scriptures and gave them the highest authority. He used Scripture against Satan when tempted by the devil in the desert. Jesus said, ''IT IS WRITTEN'.

You deliberately twist and distort the scriptures in your denial of the truth. For example you write: "Man shall not live by bread (scripture) alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth (Spirit) of God."

That statement is a lie from Satan . Every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God is a reference to God's spoken or written word. You have in the past called the Scriptures stale air, and stale manna. Your attitude toward the word of God is known to those who have read your posts.

You say that the Scriptures cannot save you. But 2 Tim 3:14 says the following. 'You however continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them; 15] and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16] All Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17] the the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

The Scriptures speak out against you. You are a false teacher and a deceiver. God will deal with you as such.
Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

Amen bro! I agree completely. Darkness is well at work in Christendom today as ever, and we strive to present all men in Christ, as per Colossians 1. Christ in you, the (only) hope of glory.

Blessings,
Brian

No, the Old Testament is not anti-christ. That you would impugn the word of God is not unexpected from you.
I didn't realize you didn't like the book of Ezra... Let me try again since Twin Spin declares that impugning the word of God is antichrist....

Why do the people in Nehemiah, if they had the 5 books since Moses, seem surprised at what it said.... Why did they then celebrate festivals they had not celebrated before? Why did they find rules they never heard before in those books they had for generations.... Yet Ezra, the scribe, suddenly appears with these things?

If you can trust a book to be of God why don't you trust men today to be of God, even if they do disagree with you on certain things?

Seems to me you worship the book and not God.... Is worshipping a book antichrist or idolatry or both?

God warns about the anti-Christ cult messages that will dwell within Christianity.
The Valley of Slaughter burns within the boundaries of the Religious as they march to the beat of their own
drum, slaying one another; even those who are innocent of their corrupted thinking or belief systems (B.S.)

Your right! Moses never died....

How do you tell if someone has Christ in them?

Just ask. If a Christian does not acknowledge experiencing Christ within his heart, then you know that he still hasn't experienced regeneration.

If regeneration has occurred, the person will acknowledge that they feel Christ in them, and that, at least to some degree, they are overcoming the flesh, and are experiencing a new joy, peace, kindness, gentleness towards others, love towards God, man, and all things good.

Hope this answers a bit..

Blessings,
Brian

  1. anti-christ (small "a") ... often associated in general terms connected with their message generally speaking
  2. Anti-christ (capital "A") ... specifically pointing to the person in singular terms
The word "anti" does not limit itself to the understanding of "against", but it also has the meaning of "instead". (this OP is about the small "a")

1 John 4:1-3
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world....
This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

There was the Judaizing teachers within the church written about in Galatians
  • taught that salvation was by mixing faith and obedience to the law and mandatory circumcision
Shortly after them was the Gnostics
  • taught that salvation was achieved through a higher degree of knowledge (IMO...the father of what would be called New Age \ mysticism)
The heresies of Irenaeus (died about 200 AD)
  • [created more falsehoods] in his attempt to refute the Gnosticics
The Ariens
  • taught that Jesus was like God but not equal to God
The Nestorians
  • who denied any sharing of attributes between the two natures in the person of Christ
The Monophysites
  • taught that there was only one nature in Christ
The Monotheletes
  • denied Jesus' human nature had a will
The Bogomiles (peaked in the 12th century)
  • taught a mixture of Dualism and Gnosticism
The Cathari and Albigenses
  • deny the reality of Jesus' death
(and from the 14th century till current)

The great mass of anti-Trinitarians and antichristian sects
  • which has produced social gospels and Modernism
Have you studied each one of those religious sects theology to see what has been incorporated into the True Faith of Christ?....
