The truth is God IS Love.

So... what exactly are you saying??
Where in Scripture does it say Hawyaw is merely LOVE?...I see where Christ commands us to Love Hawyaw with all our heart, mind and soul and to love our neighbors as ourselves and by doing this we will be keeping the Law...If we do this we will not covet our neighbor, commit adultry, have other gods before Hawyaw, murder, we will keep one day as the Sabbath out of 7 days...Even in the NT, did Hawyaw not take the physical lives of Ananias and Saphira for lying to the Holy Spirit?...Did Hawayaw not hand the sinner in Corinth over to Satan so that he may learn not to blaspheme?...From you understanding of LOVE, those actions seem fairly harsh for a "loving God" to do to His children...Unless, there are other attributes of Hawyaw that you are just plain ignoring because they do not fit with the type of god you desire to worship....I knew a young man many years ago that did not want to worship a God that did not give everyone a chance and totally ignored Paul's dicertation on the Elect of Hawyaw...He stated that if that were True, he did not want to follow a God who would do such a thing...So, he follows a god created in his own image and belief of what the attributes of a god should be...

Some not all.

The list does reflect that the reality here is just the repackaging of the same old opposition that God has warned about.

the Bible speaks of two separate anti-christ's
  1. anti-christ (small "a") ... often associated in general terms connected with their message generally speaking
  2. Anti-christ (capital "A") ... specifically pointing to the person in singular terms
The word "anti" does not limit itself to the understanding of "against", but it also has the meaning of "instead". (this OP is about the small "a")

1 John 4:1-3
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world....
This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

There was the Judaizing teachers within the church written about in Galatians
  • taught that salvation was by mixing faith and obedience to the law and mandatory circumcision
Shortly after them was the Gnostics
  • taught that salvation was achieved through a higher degree of knowledge (IMO...the father of what would be called New Age \ mysticism)
The heresies of Irenaeus (died about 200 AD)
  • [created more falsehoods] in his attempt to refute the Gnosticics
The Ariens
  • taught that Jesus was like God but not equal to God
The Nestorians
  • who denied any sharing of attributes between the two natures in the person of Christ
The Monophysites
  • taught that there was only one nature in Christ
The Monotheletes
  • denied Jesus' human nature had a will
The Bogomiles (peaked in the 12th century)
  • taught a mixture of Dualism and Gnosticism
The Cathari and Albigenses
  • deny the reality of Jesus' death
(and from the 14th century till current)

The great mass of anti-Trinitarians and antichristian sects
  • which has produced social gospels and Modernism

Excellent treatise here . Essentially, ANYTHING/ANY DOCTRINE that defames or demotes the finished work of Christ on calvary and/or the very person of Christ is going to be at the forefront of attack .... because this is the kingpin of the Christian Faith and the only means by which Man can be saved and by which Satanic strategies can be crushed.

If regeneration has occurred, the person will acknowledge that they feel Christ in them, and that, at least to some degree, they are overcoming the flesh, and are experiencing a new joy, peace, kindness, gentleness towards others, love towards God, man, and all things good.
If that is not the case, and they still say they are Christian's.
Is that Anti-Christ, or ?

Thanks ~ Mo

This is how:
1 Corinthians 2:14
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The spiritually discerned promote that truth and salvation is found "within oneself" ... not the only source which is the Bible.

The spiritually discerned use the anti-christ message of "instead" to verses like John 3:36, Matthew 25:41-46, Rev 20 - 21, John 3:16, 1 Cor 1:21

The spiritually discerned deny Jesus is God
The spiritually discerned the Triune God

I will say this...There are many who label themselves Christians (and they sincerely think they are)...but they don't understand what a Christian truly is...they don't understand the transformation they have to undergo from WITHIN to be TRULY IN CHRIST...they don't WORK OUT their salvation with fear and trembling. Easy believism is the order of the day...and they stagnate in those beliefs, never undergoing the true RESURRECTION TO LIFE...the LIFE that is available to us ALL the CHRIST WITHIN US.
