Hmmm, ok if you asked God, "God, do you think it's ok to put this in the Christian forum", what do you think He'd say? Maybe your right, maybe according to the mods it doesn't. I don't know what they'd say but I guess we'll find out. If not then I'm sorry to be so rude.
Enjoy

No worries, man. I was just being needlessly pedantic. For once, I wanted to try it myself.

Oh cool thanks. Yeah, that happens on forums, especially religious and political forums. I've learned to avoid all that stuff. Hey were jacking this thread up! This thread is now jacked...lol. Just kidding.
I would have shared this with the science department but I would much rather share it with my brothers and sisters. It makes sense to me. After all, it's not intended to be a scientific "discussion" as it would have been on another forum. Here, it's more like... "wow, GOD!!!" As a child of the one who created that star, I'm extremely facinated. Oh wait... what star?
Well, I'm surprised the end times alarmists aren't going "see, see, evidence that God is coming to get all you unbelievers and swallow you whole, mwahahahahahaha"

But this is impossible, ask any creationist. According to them nothing is older than approximately 7,000 to 13,000 years old. Yet the center of our galaxy is approximately 26,000 light years away. That means what we are seeing happened approximately 26,000 years ago, long before anything existed.
Thus either creationists are wrong, or the scientists are wrong. Which is it?

One point of clarification: your question might maybe should have been worded "thus either young-earth creationists are wrong, or the scientists are wrong".
The young-earth creationists are those that say the earth is about 6000 yrs old. There are also creationists who agree with the scientists in one major respect: that the earth is billions of years old. You can't really group all creationists into the same category...
