Going by my Dad, and former atheists I've read about (and yes they do exist), I might also think it's a tad unlikely any song could really do that. I mean it might be nice to think so, but it just seems like atheists are usually not quite that uncertain unless they're very young.

Usually when an atheist second-guesses his or her disbelief, or abandons it, it's because of a long discussion or an inspiring person or a series of events or an emotional crisis or the like. "Instant conversions" are sometimes reported when the person believes God has spoken to them (as with author J. Neil Schulman, though he became a non-religious theist) but even then there's often things that lead to it.

Interview: J. Neil Schulman

Possibly if an atheist really liked a Christian song maybe they'd say "Wow that made me think" but that doesn't necessarily mean they're seriously reconsidering atheism or considering Christianity.

I'd bet this song has turned a few Christians into atheists.

Wow! Now we gotta prove how a song changes someone's life. I read the comment by someone whose cousin, who happened to be an atheist, was moved and eventually converted by this wonderful song. Here is the comment as posted by the person on youtube.com:

This song means the world to me.My cousin has always been an Atheist,He never even thought twice about there being a God,till he saw the change in me when i started going to church. He said that he wanted a taste of that.So a few months ago i took him to church with me and a few weeks later he was saved, shortly after the life he lived before he go saved caught up with him tho. This is the song that was playing when he got saved. Its a good feeling to know I'm the reason hes in heaven. <3

Okay that seems a little more reasonable. It wasn't like a song instantly changed him, it was more of the kind of process I was mentioning.

Default Huh? Say What?

I'm missing something here. The OP's video is somehow considered a miracle-working bit of wonder-music?

I really must be missing something.

Very illuminating, Rafius. I'd love to catch a few comments from the Christian audience here on this video as well!
