To me, the gospel IS Christ in mankind. Emmanuel, or "God with man." What more do you want???!?? If Christ is in you (which He is, praise God!) then you've got everything already!! You can go anywhere in this whole wide world, with or without your favorite bible----- and Christ is still IN YOU!

Blessings!

Indwelling of Christ if a part of the Mystery/Gospel. I think people decide to disagree with certain posters no matter what they say.

No because Col 1:27 does not say the mystery is the gospel, it says Christ in you is,a blind man on a galloping horse can see that this is what it says.

It's pretty apparent (from what's been posted) and shameful, in fact, that most Christians don't have a clue what CHRIST (the annointing) IN YOU means. Just saying...

Christ being in you is a part of the mystery pcamps . The Gospel is the mystery, all of it.

Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God's grace that was given me by the working of his power. Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the Gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ, and to make everyone see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things; so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 3:1-10)

You are right Christygrl, and fair play to Finn for trying to explain it away.

Like I said in the OP, We know more about what is written in ink,and what use is that to anyone if they are not understanding what Christ in you means. The difference is thinking we know about God by what is written in ink and actually knowing God by Christ in you.

So you have gone from saying The mystery is the good news, to Christ in you is part of it. Well it's a start I suppose.

EXACTLY!!!!!! There is a mountain of difference between the two...one leads to darkness and confusion...the other to light.

LOL, you are putting on some severe spin and twist to my words . You are good at that

I have maintained that the "mystery" is the Gospel (all of it), and it goes without saying that everything about Jesus is a part of it.

PS You suggest people choose between Bible and Christ in you, but they don't. Every Bible believing Christian on this board agrees Christ/Spirit is in the believer, so it is not "pick one or the other, but not both" choise like you suggest.
