John 12:32
And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw (Greek - helkuo, meaning "to drag") all people to myself.

God bless.

I have already done so, and perhaps you should too. Did you really not understand what I meant with the "us"??? I thought I put it very clearly to refer to the "us" word in the verse you quoted. Paul's words, not mine. I am surprised you didn't get it.

When you read, read with comprehension.

Hope you had a wonderful, Christmas Eve and morning.

If anyone doubts the power of Jesus to reach all men:

Isaiah 25:
6 The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow,
And refined, aged wine.
7 And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples,
Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth;
For the LORD has spoken.
9 And it will be said in that day,
“Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us.
This is the LORD for whom we have waited; (NAS)

God bless.

Red Bolded.... That He "might" save us.

Sounds like there is more to it.

Hi Modeerf,

9 And it will be said in that day,
“Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us.
This is the LORD for whom we have waited; (NAS)

Isaiah 25:
6 The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow,
And refined, aged wine.
7 And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples,
Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces...

Romans 8

"18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope* 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22" (NAS)

*hope=elpis=expectation

God bless.

The "might" is interpretation.

Here is the KJV:

Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

I agree. The YLT has:

"9And [one] hath said in that day, `Lo, this [is] our God, We waited for Him, and He saveth us, This [is] Jehovah, we have waited for Him, We joy and rejoice in His salvation.'

God bless.
