Jesus has made several instructional warnings about the devil sowing bad seed after his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension back to heaven and installation as the high priest under a different order of priestly service.
A. The good seed is what the apostles were taught to sow.
1. From what Jesus says about the good seed there is about a 33.3% measurable success rate for the good seed overall relative to time. And a 66.6% failure rate relative to time.
B. We know that at an approximate point of time the bad seed Jesus had predicted to be sown began being sown. All of the apostles made strident objections but no clear identification of what the bad seed is.
1. There are four things associated with the bad seed.
a. strident unilateral persecution ended
b. the kernel of the bad seed is a lie
c. the spiritual gifts are not associated with this seed
d. the approximate beginning time frame is 50 AD through the present
C. Since we know that the bad seed is a lie it is also 180º out of sync at its central soteriological point to the good seed. The bad seed tempts you into doing the exact opposite action of God's will, but appears to be right by appealing to self interest.
Assignment. Reverse engineer the contemporary doctrine of salvation. In other words flip the central concept and see what you come up with.
