I wonder why it is that christians have believed
Israel to be an Olive Tree to begin with.
When scripture has a clear instruction from God
of Israel being The GrapeVine in the earth.
God said He brought a Vine out of Egypt and planted it.
Ps.80:8

Don't quote prophets out of context to prove your point, please.
It's fairly easy for anyone to pick up their Bible and read the entire context in which your verse is being ripped out of to prove a later interpretation.
Your use of Jeremiah is .... astonishingly misleading.
It wouldn't surprise me if you thought "Lord of Hosts" in Isaiah was some coded reference to Jesus. DO you believe that?
Let's actually look at one of these verses in context, and see the agricultural metaphors (that some of the Biblical authors were fond of) that are being confused with references to Jesus, or proof that Israel was some sort of vine that would yield Jesus.
Clear references to the Exodus, the conquest of Canaan, Yahweh and the Holy of Holies (the "enthroned on the cherubum" reference), leading Israel into a hoped-for retaliation against it's current enemies (the Assyrians?), the agricultural metaphors relating Israel to a vine that already HAS yielded fruit (see the Psalm) and it's branches, vines and fruit have spread throughout the reaches of the Land of Israel - even to sea. Further realization that it is Yahweh's anger that has brought this calamity on the Israelites, this denuding of their fruit by "wild boars" and "passerby" and "creatures of the field", references to the King (the "man at Your right hand", "the one You have taken as Your own"), and a plea that Yahweh relent and help His King during this time.
Messianic references? No. Jesus as the ultimate "Fruit" of the "Vine"? Absolutely not - the fruit IS Israel - that's clear from the Psalm. See - this is how people take ONE verse and use it to prove something entirely different from what the biblical author intended. The same approach (quoting the passage in context) could be applied to the other references provided. But it's a waste of time. Some people have their mind made up - but at least this will prevent others from being convinced by obviously biased quotations.
