The Kingdom is not a place - let's look at what was described in scripture. The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven are one in the same.

Mat 10:7 - Jesus told His disciples to "proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’" But then Luke 9:2 says, "And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick." Not two different kingdoms, but descriptions of Who reigns over it (kingdom of God) and what realm it is (kingdom of heaven).

Daniel brings the two together when he says, “And in the days of these kings shall the GOD (person) of HEAVEN (realm) set up A KINGDOM, which shall never be destroyed” (Dan. 2:44) We then see that the realm is the spirit, for God is spirit, and those who worship Him must be in the spirit as well. (John 4:24)

God inhabits the spirit world.

I believe God is everywhere.
I also believe God appreciates people with a sense of humor.

Why do we believe so easily that He is omnipresent, but have a difficult time that he can be found in the most precious of his creation.... Man himself ?.

Because men have been taught to believe the ideologies of other men.

far away in the north.

Leviticus 1:11 Slaughter the animal on the north side of the altar in the LORD's presence, and Aaron's sons, the priests, will splatter its blood against all sides of the altar.
So if God dwells above the stars of the north, does that mean he cannot see the people who live in the southern hemisphere?

I'm being facetious, of course, but one must be careful about constructing cosmogonies based upon the flat earth model of ancient peoples. Once upon a time gods dwelt upon mountaintops, whence they could look down and see all the people below. Then people climbed those mountains, found no gods, so decided the gods must dwell in the sky.

The more we have discovered about the earth, the solar system, the universe, the more we have had to change our views on where the gods live.

I personally like the views expressed by several here, that God "dwells" within all of us, but that's a discussion for another time and another thread.

Amen & Hallelujah! God our Father is life and life is His creation, and He lives among all life. God is in me as He is in you, and I only pray that you are in Him. I speak for that is.

....Peace be with you all!
