The scripture definition for the scripture 2 Timothy3:16.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

You called the KJV Holy Bible “scripture”.

KJV But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

So perhaps you can tell us, oh quoter of the great KJV, why are you walking in craftiness and handling the word of God deceitfully then?

Do you really think anyone here believes 1 Tim 3:16 is referencing the KJV, or that anyone here who happens to call a verse you quoted out of the KJV "scripture" really believes it is the infallible and only accurate English translation? Please!!!!!!

So what is the Greek word being used for Scripture? And why are you ignoring the other definitions I offered?

And if we take literally what Timothy says (as YOU are) - then all the sacred scriptures of the world, from every religion are true and inspired of God. Yup. Oh - to deny that, though, would be to admit that there are different definitions of scripture! OOOOO - be careful with your reply on this one! I'm setting you up.... The only way you can extricate yourself from this one, is by acknowledging the different definitions of "scripture", and then this would weaken your weird claim about the KJV.

We'll all wait here.

"The fool foldeth his hands together [to read the KJV],
And eateth his own flesh [because he is a dullard and has no food because he his hands are busy defending the KJV].
Better is a handful [of newer, more accurate translations] with quietness,
Than both the hands full with [the KJV], travail, [much writing of forum posts with only bible verses in BOLD] and vexation of spirit."

Ecclesiastes 5:5-6 (King James Whoppers-Augmented Version)
This is a special 1612 Version that I don't think you've ever read, have you? It's "inspired". Inspired by common sense.
