It may surprise you that believers in UR do believe this passage. I do.

Notice it doesn't mention anything about eternal hell.

But it does mention judgment. Judgment produces righteousness, because it is used to set things right.

Isaiah 26:9-10 is a good example. When God's judgment comes in the earth, the people learn righteousness. If they don't learn it by grace, they will learn it by judgment. That is what judgment is for.

Yes . Being at peace with God, and myself. When I saw that Jesus revealed the true nature and character of God the conflict I had with God, and myself was over. God understands my old man is of the earth, I understand and accept it and recognize it for what it is. It's a lovely place to be.

To rescue us from the hand of our enemies,
***and to enable us to serve him without fear
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

Luke 1:74 & 79.

If I could I would. What I will say is the riches of Christ are boundless, and if our hearts are open we surely can begin to discover them.

Yes, and we happened to notice it doesn't mention anything about all being saved beyond judgement either

People need to acknowledge and accept God's act of grace now. We need to do the acknowledging of this act of Jesus now, while we are living. People need to stop refusing it now. It is only in this life that we are offered this gift of grace. Accept it now.
Well, I personally have accepted it. But there have been billions who have lived and died without every having had that opportunity. How can someone who has never been told about what Jesus did for us acknowledge Him? And how could a truly just God condemn then to an eternity of torment without giving them the opportunity to (1) hear the truth, and (2) either accept or reject it?

Peace.
I do believe it. We do only die once. And after we die, we will face God's judgment. And then, when Christ returns, we will face "the Final Judgment."

Well done, Finn ... this ^^^^ sums up my beliefs fairly well.

You saw my response hopefully. I meant to ask you for your definition of christian, as well.

Hi Katie,
Yes.. but I don't know what you believe UR is.
You said you know I believe in Universal Reconciliation, but I just wanted to hear from you what you believe that means.

(trust me, it just makes it a lot easier to communicate when we are at least on the same page with what a term means.)

peace friend,

For the benefit of Katie and others, here are some of the scriptures that show they will be saved "beyond judgment" as you put it.

Luke 3:6 And all people will see God’s salvation.

1 Tim 2
3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Romans 4: 18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Psalm 22:27 All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the LORD,
and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him

Isaiah 45:22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;
For I am God, and there is no other.
23 “I have sworn by Myself,
The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness
And will not turn back,
That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

Isaiah 26:9 At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

The people learn righteousness when God's judgments come. That is the point. And so everyone will turn back to God, every knee bow, every tongue confess - even to the point of swearing allegiance. And so in Adam all were made sinners, in Christ all will be made righteous. This is because God wills and desires to save all people. And all people will see this salvation. Thus Jesus truly is the savior of the world.

Its good news for all men, just like the angels said in Luke 2:10.
