life is in this moment, and eternal. no activity of the mind can lead us to it.. it is already who we are natuarally... it the mind and its ego that makes the separation between us all. through belief of some sort.
dont be fooled to attain some futre life.. life is here to be lived fully in the moment now, when the activity of the mind stops, right here peace and eternal love is found and the flow of natural life beyond all judgemens and stories and label, will take place effortlessly and the beauty and joy that springs from this everlasting place will free us from all confusion that the mind has attached to.

No Twin . . . If you don't believe in Eternal Damnation . . . you believe that God is ACTUALLY GOD . . . NOT some petty jealous human megalomaniac tyrant bent on permanently torturing His own creations forever for not acknowledging His greatness.

Jesus told us there is eternal damnation. God does not send us to hell, we send ourselves there.

Speak for yourself, MT! I am no sinner by my own ethical standards, and will not be superficially judged by some artificial entity who was designed in the bronze age to frighten the innocent and naive into fearful submission. Oh, and let's not forget institutionalized & reliable " tithing". The church even conveniently provides you with a "suggested" percentage: 10%! How arrogant!
So sorry to disappoint!

Hi Janelle
Can you explain why the Jews were kept in the dark about it then, all those years proceeding Jesus apparently saying that, lets reason together, surely God would have clearly made it known in the scriptures to them, something which is of vital importance.

No Janelle . . . He did NOT. There is no such word or concept in His native language, period. You have been lied to deliberately . . . sad to say . . . to maintain control and membership in money-motivated religious institutions. God have mercy on their souls for corrupting Christ's Gospel of love and reconciliation.

Yes, people do it to themselves. Hell is existence without any influence from God, as the Bible puts is "eternally shut out from the presence of the Lord". If you believe God is the creator of everything that is good, then you can imagine existing in a place which has nothing good, no love, no people, only you and your regret. When people reject God, they reject everything about them, and although they can still enjoy his creation (like nature), His love, and other people here on earth, the Bible says that will not be the case in the hereafter.

Only a lower level of consciousness would derive at that conclusion.
Psalm 139:8
If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol (the Grave), behold, You are there.

So you say, but I derived it from the Bible.
2 Thessalonians 1:9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power
Shut out from his presence and from the majesty of his power.
David was referring to the time after his death is Paradise, which was the good side if Sheol/Hades. Even David is no longer there, although him, and all other righteous people who died before the death of Jesus were once there. Abraham was there, Moses was there, Jacob was there, but believers do not go there anymore, because they go be with the Lord immediately after they die.

For David did not go up to the heavens, and he saith himself: The Lord saith to my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Acts 2:4
