I do remember stating that I would NEVER believe that God would save EVERYONE because too many people died never knowing God and even seemed to go out of their way to do the most vile, evil things.
Yet, here I am. Go figure!

Yes, I was too. And I believed that only those persons who believed or worshipped a certain way would be saved but I think that God had a plan and used this to help open my eyes. It was a process of praying, studying, researching, and I spent many day, even a couple of years in a daze, I guess you call it. I had never heard of UR although I had had doubts about an eternal hell for awhile before I learned about the restoration of all to God. God bless.

Very much similar testimony to me Shana, although I don't think I doubted there was an eternal hell until I read ( I think) something what Gary Sigler had said.
My later years as a fundamentalist I had softened considerably my focus was more on who He IS and who I AM in Christ and the acknowledging of this, rather than sin and death and what I believed at that time were the consequences of it.
