But they had Christ in them. Obviously Christ in you minus knowing His word = failure.
Did they know Christ was in them ? . Paul said to test themselves on this question.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test? Not answering yes = failure.
Christ means anointed. Anointed also means sanctified. Jesus sanctifies His true followers in truth as stated in Jn 17:17. This shows that true believers are ONE in the Lord and therefore anointed. He also stated that those who are sanctified are the son of God in JN 10:36. That is why He said I sent them into the world as you sent me into the world.
JN 10:36 Jesus answered, "Is it not written in your law, "I said, you are gods'? If those to whom the word of God came were called "gods'—and the scripture cannot be annulled— can you say that the one whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world is blaspheming because I said, "I am God's Son'?
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me . He has sent me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and give sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year of favor from the Lord.
"It is written, "Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him."
But he(Jesus) said in reply to the one who told him, Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?
And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is brother, sister, and mother to me”.
If Jesus has a brother what does that make him? Son of God? Remember the son of man will come at a time you least expect.

The anointing(Christ) breaks the yoke of religious bondage.
Most of Christianity knows nothing of this, it is so blind sided by it's stance and defense of the written word( exactly where the devil wants you)it totally misses the reason why Christ came........He came that He may lead us from within. He came that we might have boldness and confidence before Him, He came that we might have Life and Life more abundantly,He came that we might know the Love of God that passes all understanding. He came that we might know Him,who to know is Life age enduring. He came that we may know where He always intended on reigning, in man in the here and now.
Christ is IN you, how amazing is that. The reality of this, no bible verse could ever match.
Christ never called us to defend the word,the Living Word of God is more powerful than anything we could ever imagine. We defend ourselves with it.
Desire above all things to know Jesus Christ in you.
