Proper, fair, non hypocritical judging is a bibilical thing to do . This issue is one of the most misunderstood things people bring up. They usually raise up the issue when they are being challenged while doing something wrong or being in an immoral situation . So they put a twist on the situation by putting the focus on the Objector instead of their own unsavory actions which they inherently know are wrong . Another adage which goes along with this , is, accusing the Objector of 'being holier than thou' . Its interesting how humans will spin and twist things to justify their wrongdoing -- some will even declare that the wrongdoing isnt wrong ! Denial is always a common excuse as a protection mechanism.

That may be all well and good for Bibleans . . . but NOT for Christians. God does the judging, period. We are to witness and set the example as much as possible.

The Bible and Christians are inseperately linked and its the Bible where ultimate truth is acquired. Yes of course we are to witness per the Great Commission command , imitate Christ which includes following the teachings and constructs of the BIble that Jesus declared was all Gods Word . The Bible doesnt call Christians to be tolerant of abberrant behaviour and in fact the BIble explicitly calls for us to expose such works of evil.
Heres one of many examples in the Bible where God wants us to judge the immoral proclaimed Believer ; note in partcular verse 12 :
1 Corinthians chapt. 5 ----'
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[c] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you".
A branch shall sprout from the stump of Jesse, and a shoot from his roots shall blossom. The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him: a spirit of wisdom and of understanding, A spirit of counsel and of strength, a spirit of knowledge and of fear of the Lord, and his delight shall be the fear of the Lord. Not by appearance shall he judge, nor by hearsay shall he decide, But he shall judge the poor with justice, and decide aright for the land's afflicted. He shall strike the ruthless with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked. Justice shall be the band around his waist, and faithfulness a belt upon his hips.

YES ! The reason why America has become a cesspool of immorality and apathy toward morals is because its people ceased being ' my brothers keeper' and tossed out judging and discerning in favor of tolerance to whatever a person FEELS LIKE doing (aka: Turning a blind eye) . JUDGING OTHERS | SHOULD CHRISTIANS JUDGE?
Isaiah 16:5 "In Faithfulness the throne will be established; And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness."
Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.
Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.
Romans 7:23
but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
"Be Still", hear the Spirit of Truth, as God loves you all, but He despises these foolish and stupid arguments, as they are not of God, but of mans own desire, of flesh.
....Shalom Aleichem
