Revelation chapter 19 plainly shows that when Jesus returns from heaven at the end of the Tribulation and prior to establishing His Millennial kingdom He destroys the armies which oppose Him. This is not difficult to understand.

The book of Revelation has three main divisions as listed in Rev. 1:19. "Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things.

'The things which you have seen' refers to the things which John saw in Revelation chapter one.

'The things which are' refers to the seven churches of Asia which represent the trends and cycles of churches throughout the present church-age. This is covered in Revelation chapters 2 and 3.

'The things which will take place after these things' refers to the events which will take place after the church has been raptured. The Tribulation and the return of Christ is covered in Revelation chapters 4 through 19. Revelation chapter 20 covers the imprisonment of Satan for the duration of the Tribulation, his release at the end of the Tribulation, the God and Magog revolution at the end of the Millennium, Satan's permanent imprisonment in the lake of fire, the destruction of the present heavens and earth, and the great white throne judgment. Revelation chapter 21 covers the new heavens and earth, the eternal state.

Now within Revelation chapters 4 through 19 which cover the Tribulation, the events progress from the seven seal judgments, to the seven trumpet judgments, to the seven bowl judgments.

In describing these events, John will start with an overview and then come back and cover specfic details which he covered in the overview.

The Armageddon Campaign takes place at the end of the Tribulation while the Gog and Magog revolution mentioned in Revelation 20:8-9 takes place at the end of the Millennium. These are two different events separated by a thousand years.
RESPONSE:

Some people believe that Revelation is a revelation, and don't realize it's only symbolic.

Then who's army is the one that gets destroyed after the Millenium?...

The armies of Gog and Magog from the four corners of the earth, as led by Satan.

How does that conclusively prove it's the same event as Rev. 16-19 ?

Richard, when the Millennium begins it will start out with believers only. No unbeliever who survives the Tribulation will go into the Millennial kingdom. But as people are born and the world's population increases, many of them will not accept the reign of Jesus Christ over them. They will not place their faith in Him as Savior. They will want nothing to do with Him. So when Satan is temporarily released from his imprisonment at the end of the Millennium he will incite all of those who resented Christ's rule over them to break out into an open rebellion against Him. It is these who will be destroyed by Christ in the Gog Magog revolution spoken of in Revelation 20:7-9.

This event is separated from the Armegeddon Campaign at the end of the Tribulation by a thousand years. They are two entirely different events.

Revelation is not symbolic. The symbolism which is used in the Book of Revelation refers to real events that often because of the limitations of human language and understanding are better referred to by means of symbolic language and imagery, while in other cases the symbolism is explained. For example, the seven golden lampstands in Rev. 1:12 are revealed in Rev. 1:20 to be the seven churches spoken of in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 which themselves are representative of churches throughout the present church-age.

Yes there is evidence they were in Egypt. It is found in the historical account of Genesis and Exodus and other books in the history of Israel.

Moses knew exactly on which day he would die (immediately after the Jews battled the Midianites after the conquest of the land of Og). Since Hashem dictated the entire Torah to Moses, I can't think of a reason He wouldn't tell Moses how the book ends? Even if there was some "bad news" for Moshe in the ending.
