How can we as Christians be more salty? How can we attract more people to Christ?
Sadly I think it's the greatest thing missing today.

That passage about salt and light comes from the Sermon on the Mount, which was Jesus himself talking.
He tells us EXACTLY how to be salt and light and how to attract people to Christ in Matt 5:16. It's by our good WORKS! Not by your "image" as a Christian. Not by your obedience to a set of rules. Not by what we think or what we believe or how often we go to church or how much we give or how often we protest down at the schoolhouse or how we vote...but by what we DO for Him!
The Greek word translated there as "works" is ergon, which literally means your business, your employment. It means the same thing in Greek as it does in English: Your job.
So, if you REALLY want to attract people to Christ, you have to get off your tail, get up out of the pew, and go to work out there in the world. You have to DO something and do it visibly, where people can see you and cause them to ask, "Why are doing that?" Then, you'll have an opportunity to share Christ and explain WHY you're doing the Lord's work.
God has a job for you to do, a job He's spent your entire life crafting you for, and He expects you to be doing it. Ask Him to lead you into whatever He wants you to do...and then go and do it!
THAT'S how you become "salty."
