Thanks for the prayers - please keep 'em coming!!! I will continue to post updates as I see them, and I am praying and believing that each new update will be better than the last.

I just checked Grant's mother's Facebook page and she updated about 3 hours ago that she is at Grant's bedside working on her laptop. She is waiting for Grant to wake up, but he did squeeze her hand as she spoke to him. The waiting must be so tough for her. God is probably putting some finishing touches on Grant before waking him. I am praying for mama's strength, and Grant's healing. I know he is going to wake up!

UPDATE!!!


I just checked JJ Virgin's Facebook page .... Grant's breathing tube had an infection in it, so doctor's had to remove it and put a vent mask on Grant. He is now breathing on his own and no longer needs the mask or the breathing tube! He also opened his eyes and has been listening to music. Doctors had to wrap Grant's hands in diapers (?) because he is very active now and they don't want him to pull at any of the wires or tubes. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!

All of these prayers are being heard and answered, so let's keep them coming!!!


I have added another boy to my prayers. The other boy also suffered a traumatic brain injury, but his was during a football game, and he was also flown out to Harbor UCLA Medical Center - same hospital as Grant Virgin.
