The question to be posed is this:

Does God ask us to that that which He refuses to do?

God tells us to love our enemies. Based upon 1 Corinthians 13 such love never gives up on our enemies.

Yet some of our Christians brothers, who I'm sure love God with all their heart, seem to think that God's love for enemies has a limit.

So is it true that our love for our enemies is supposed to be greater than God's love for His enemies?

Some do believe this.

Well....I had a thought....

Love God with your whole body and your whole mind and your whole soul

and

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Then...when you see God you can ask Him yourself. Whatcha think?

FWIW.

Can God act or be anything different to what He desires us to be, or has He ever acted or been different to what He desires us to be ?. I do not believe so

If God tortures His enemies for eternity in flames, questioning Him would be a moot point, don't you think?

God has His Children to love their enemies because it stops the devil and his plan to take authority away form God , and bring strife and contention and division of the devil and this can stop God and His plan , which iniquity and sin will thaw Holy Spirit....Then there is the great commission of Salvation of the lamb of God Jesus who has a plan to save all people He can and If Christian reject the enemies of God then there is no one to get saved ...... The Christians need to have a place in the world where there is a place prepared for their survival in a world who spirit is hostile to God and His Children ...So Christians are all called to pray for their enemies to bring down the ought in the spirit and clean the injustice out in the spirit so the peace of God will prepare a way for Christians to abide in the earth so the Lord God will have a place in the earth with His Children ......See God loves the enemies of God because His is the only one who can cleans them of the discord of Life and give them a whole life who they were created to be , one with God....

No. While I was yet still a sinner, Christ died for me.

The way I have seen this brought up is that God requires us to forgive others automatically, but he, himself, requires people to repent and ask for forgiveness before he can forgive them.

How about

Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

It's the goodness of God ^^^^^^ that causes us to repent . Romans 2:4. No requirement necessary, the goodness of God takes care of all the necessary requirements.

What do you think ?

I had not ever quite seen God in that light. I don't think asking questions makes a person an enemy.....and I am not so sure that a Being who can end the Universe by simply electing to stop thinking about it would use permanent commitment to suffering as a way of quelling requests for information.
FWIW.
