It's called the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. There is ALWAYS a cause that prods us to make the choices we make and then there is the EFFECT of those choices. There has never been a causeless choice made...they go hand in hand with each other. That is why free will is truly not "free" at all.

Sis freewill is the ability to choose freely between the causes.

The flesh wars with the spirit and our will has the God given ability to make the choice of which we will follow.
