What is perfect love and what makes love perfect? Love is messy, it's always growing or expanding. Sometimes it's jealous or almost mean. It's love that gets us into messes and it's love that gets us out of messes. So what is perfect love? Love is ony perfected in forgiveness. It's only perfect when you have forgiven a wrong done to you. THIS is what God did when He came and walked among us. He forgave our imperfections. He only asks us for our love and respect in obeying Him. We are to keep growing and expanding (ripening and leavening) in the ways of love, and to always give our best to set the examples for others.
Yeshua Bless You

Amen.

Perfect love to me is defined as "having no mixture", i.e. 100% pure (agape).

Love is defined splendidly in 1 Cor 13 as having no thought for its own way (jealousy), and having only the best in mind for the object of Its love. It's a truth that this form of love will cast out fear, because there is no threat behind Its gesture, only "goodness and mercy".

Hell doesn't fit very well in this context.

Love..is who we are. Love is Strong, patient, kind, and all good things..

The world teaches us a different thing that they label as love, but it is not really love..

love cannot be explained fully in any words.. it is powerful, it is beautiful, it is magical..
We have to lose the "love" that we have been "taught" and allow the REAL LOVE to show us its magic.. no thoughts or conditions attached to it.. in stillness we learn what true love is.

According to the Bible, God's love for us is perfect. Are you saying the Bible is a fairy tale?

Why do you tell us "Yeshua Bless You"? You seem to think that the way to please God is to work for his love--as I bolded in your statement above. You don't need a Messiah for that.

The Gospel is not that we love and serve God to please him. The Gospel is that he died in our place and took the punishment.

My Messiah is my God. ALL the ways and teachings of Jesus are the ways I want to live. God is the head, brain and life of His body of believers and His name is Jesus Christ/ Yeshua --Ea-shoa M'sheekhah.
It's in the ways of Christ that we see our Creator.
Jesus/Yeshua Bless You
