Which character was homosexual? I must have missed that in the movies.

Dumbledore, and apparently he had a thing for Grindelwald... J.K. Rowling outs Hogwarts character - Yahoo! News (broken link)

I don't read Harry Potter (which always shocks my library patrons, LOL), so I really can't comment more on it... but I don't see why it couldn't have been inspired by Christianity & still have a homosexual character. Judging by the threads on these religion forums, we all know there are varying opinions on the subject - even among the Christians.

Another homosexual thread..WoweeI saw an interview with the author when her first book was published.. Harry Potter began as a story she told and retold her son at bedtime. If all the stories I told my kids and grandkids were ever published I guess I would be labled a witch since they all liked my scary stuff... I wonder if the brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson and poor ole Mother Goose got talked about

I think this is just stupid. I believe she's doing either to 'annoy' the religious critics of her books or just to stir up controversy since her books finished.

The only way to get 'annoyed' is to ALLOW yourself to be annoyed. It's a book. Period. Move on.
