As Christians worldwide prepare for Easter, a time of reflection on Jesusí death and a celebration of his resurrection, many seem to be looking forward as well.

The above chart, from a Pew Research Center survey on the religious beliefs of Christians in the United States, shows that about half believe Jesus will either definitely or probably return in the next 40 years.

He will return on His terms. 40 years is microscopic in human time to Him, yet within sight to us. We are not to know.

Neither does Yeshua know when He will return Himself...

That’s not really true, because NOT all the world prepared for easter. Because many countries don’t have the same celebrations. And even many in the usa don’t celebrate easter, because it has nothing to do with Jesus. Hence the “easter eggs”, and "rabbit". This is ALL of satan, and if Christians do their research, They would know the true origins of easter. Also they would know, easter, WASN’T even celebrated in Jesus time. Christians shouldn’t follow the traditions of man, (Colo. 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ).

Still, many will just refuse the truth, in order to as they say, “do it for the children". I wish many would keep it real, and STOP using the kids. Most adults do some things they claim is for the kids, really for themselves. Many claim to follow Jesus, but they partly do it ,(Mark 7:6,7 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men).

As for Jesus coming, he’s ALREADY HERE! ,did not anyone read where Jesus told his followers he will be with them as they go spreading the word as he taught them to continually do until the end? (Matt. 28:19,20). Many see what Jesus say here at (Matt. 24:30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory”) ,as he will literally be seen. But Jesus told the Apostles , the world, WON’T SEE HIM AGAIN ,(John14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also). These men will be in Heaven with Jesus, and they will be made spirits, so they WILL see him again.

Another scripture many misunderstood to mean ALL will see ,(Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven). NOT ALL of Jesus followers seen him leave this way, ONLY his Apostles. And they as well as ANY who have that heavenly calling will see Jesus as spirit beings in Heaven. Also , as they seen Jesus ascending to be with his Father. they UNDERSTOOD, Jesus wouldn’t be with them literally, (on earth), But helping them from Heaven ,(Mark 16:19,20 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen). Just as Jehovah God, was with Jesus while he was on earth. Even though Jesus Father WASN’T literally on earth. so is Jesus, who's here NOW ,meaning he's helping his followers from Heaven. peace

So they have been reading a lot of Paul? Paul Felt Jesus would return in his lifetime, and a deep study of his writings in the New Testament and bridging together some current events can easily have someone today believing the same.

After Israel was re-established as a nation in 1948, many believed that a perceived '40-year generational clock' was ticking. Again, in 1967, after the 6-day war, many thought, 'now the clock starts.' (This is mostly based on the Biblical 'signs' of the End Times throughout scripture. While we cannot know the "day or hour", we can and are to recognize the season). All of the 'End Time signs' have been fulfilled (except, perhaps, for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, but, that is not a firm Pre-Tribulation sign).

As almost a paradox, every generation has had an equal reason to believe that theirs might be the 'End Time generation.' ... And, in a sense, they were right! --- Every individual faces their own 'End Time' - and none knows the day or hour of their own demise. Every generation and individual has likewise known that no one previously had been closer to the Biblical 'End Time' as they were ... or as WE are right at this moment!

IMO, God intends for His obedient disciples to live with an expectant sense of urgency ... not like so many 'calendar watchers.' A believer never knows when their unbelieving neighbor might suddenly enter eternity via a traffic accident or heart-attack. Whether Christ returns today, in 40-years or 500-years, should not change our diligent faithfulness in living our lives for Him today!

If you'd taken that same poll, 40 years ago, I suspect the results would have been very similar. And 40 years before that. And 40 years before that.

No one knows.

Jesus will come back and bring renewal to the earth , for His church to flourish ........... The time when He said He would come is when sin overwhelms the earth , and those who hold the mark , and number , and worship the image of the beast will be more noticeable then even the sin in the earth today.......... One big obstacle for Jesus church before that happens is that all the divisions of the churches through out the earth will be GONE, as the division are under the authority of the spirit of antichrist today.......... So antichrist is not a complete threat, as the days before Jesus will come .........because when division of antichrist spirit are gone , Then antichrist will come and try to destroy the church of Lord Jesus , where Jesus must then come before His church is gone ........ So when believers see the authority of antichrist strife and divisions of the church of Jesus moving out of the earth , then you should take the side were divisions is going , which will be on Jesus side and the righteous in Christ side , and no matter what happens after that The Christians who side with Jesus will be held up .......So don`t hold up the division of the church by Pharisees legalistic types, as their power of God could be gone ......How could divisions of the church be gone today?... Persecution against the Christians ...
