And some would teach that we are ALL sinners because we fall short. So I suppose that by their standards, you hate everyone and hope that ALL, including yourself, will burn forever.

If we hated the sinner,we would be hating everyone, because we are all sinners and need a Saviour. We find that Saviour in Jesus Christ who took away our transgressions by dying on the cross. This does not mean that we continually live in our sins,we should detest our sins and come with a true repenting heart to the Lord and keep our focus on Him.For whosoever believeth in Him shall have eternal life in His Kingdom.

How can we hate someone who is being deceived and who is a slave to sin? They are lost and sick. How can someone make an intelligent choice if he or she is being deceived and how could they be consigned to burn in hell for all of eternity if they are being blinded and deceived? I do believe that we should hate the sin and not the sinner. Sin is what destroys the person. God bless.

That`s right Shana. No one is making an intelligent choice. God does the choosing. If it was left up to us,we would all be lost. That`s why we should really strive to love one another. It`s not by our own intelligence or means or might that we are saved or made some right choice but by God`s grace he opened our eyes and drew us to himself.

I agree spm62. Only God can remove the scales from our eyes. A blind man cannot open give himself sight. God bless.

It is so beautiful to see that we all agreed in Loving our brother and hating the sin.

May the divine love of God and Jesus Christ his son, awaken in all the hearts of men, may their divine love inspire us everyday.

God bless us all!
