I have ordered more lunch meat at the deli because the price was $6.66. What's up with that? Do I need to schedule a session with June or are there others out there that are just as freaky?
I closed out my bank account because they changed the account number to 666... I don't think anything would have happened to me necessarily if I had left the account open, but I was totally uneasy...I will not accept the mark...

Not to worry. The Great Tribulation took place in the first century--pre A.D. 70. It is over.

I am saddened to admit this, but it may help someone. When my daughter was going through a terrible time (she was 15), she changed her birthday from mid-November to March 6th. And even her psychiatrist could not figure out why. It took my son who is smarter than I am to realize that it was (March 6th ~ 3/6 ....three sixes). It was an internet cult that she was a part of. I still get the chills when I recall the time I heard what her new date meant.

Again, what is your point? Are you accusing someone of being a member of a cult? And if, so what is your proof?

Did you know that Biblical scholars are not even 100% certain that 666 is the correct translation. It's either 666 or 616.

Either way, there's no need to be superstitious about it. The number is part of a vision given to St. John that is meant to symbolize something very specific. It isn't meant as some sort of evil "magic number" or anything like that.

Sweet.. Glad to know it doesn't mean anything. I've been itching to break out my old Iron Maiden album..

The Number of the Beast (album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and yes.. I go to church.. but I do love heavy metal...

Rock on.

I agree. IMO it's something that most will not realize as being the mark.
