I think the obvious answer is no. If you believe that the founder of the religion was fraudulent, I can't see how you could buy into the religion at all.

Reason: Offensive to Mormon members on the forum.
Considering that there technically is no such thing as "a Mormon" -- end of the day, it's just another slang term and not the proper name for any actual religion -- then I suppose that you can call yourself a Mormon. While you're at it, you could be the guy/gal who creates the religion with "Mormon" as it's official name.
I think Joseph Smith was a fraud. Can I still call myself a Mormon?
I went through all the steps (including being a missionary) live in Utah, drink coffee and alcohol, think Joseph Smith was more of a "Little Napoleon" than a man of god, think polygamy would be fun for a couple of years at least (but can't convince my wife of that) and would rather spend my Sundays doing something fun than sitting in 3 hours of church and I'm still a mormon, so yes, you can.
It just makes me a bad Mormon.
Seriously though, Mormonism is as much a culture as it is a religious institution. Generally speaking, culture is neither good nor bad; it just is. You don't have to believe Joseph Smith talked to god to think Mormon history is interesting and that it's cool you came out of all that, nor is it wrong or silly to accept many aspects of the "mormon way" in your day to day life.
