Alot of people say there is no hell or why would a supposedly God send someone to a horrible place.

1. Could a loving God send people to hell?

The bible says what send you to hell is unbelief. Hell was made for unbelievers. Jesus died for your sins and the 1 unforgivable sin is rejecting God, so if you go through this life with a harden heart towards God, you are openly rejecting him.

2. Who Hell was made for?

Matthew 25:41
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

So if you reject god and Jesus in this life you are following the Devil.

3. If there is no hell, Why would a loving God send sinners to heaven?

If you wanted nothing to do with God in this lifetime, why would you want anything to do with him in the next life. God is not going to put you in a place with nothing but believers if you wanted noting to do with him before as that would now make heaven Hell for the unbeliever, since they would be with people they wanted nothing to be like before.

4. If Hell is not real, Jesus was a liar.

If hell is not a real place, you pretty much cant trust anything Jesus said and why he wasted a time warning about it being a place you don't want to go.

Is Hell a certain amount of time , then you die or for all eternity? Only God knows that, but it is a real and a place that should be avoided!!!

The pain filled broken down homeless drunk laying in a ditch is in hell. You a young and beautiful person walking in the sunshine holding the hand of your first true love - are in heaven. The idea of hell originated in ancient times...it was the city dump outside the walls of the town...where heaps of garbage were place...Hell was a place where life throws away those who have given up and have lost hope. When I imagine God as this all powerful eternal presence that extends from here to forever- I can not imagine this thing going out of it's way to punish us mere mortals that are less than germs..in comparison. Man and the darker sides of human nature likes to punish others...cos them grief and pain....Why would God bother with such things?

"God sends the blessing of rain on the wicked as well as the good" - to para phrase...If there is a hell we generate that hell here on earth. If there is a heaven we can also create that here on earth...What happens when we die is and will always be a mystery...no human being has ever reported back from the dead. The best we can do is be thankful for life and enjoy this gift. You are in heaven.

I let God decide who is going to Heaven or not. Humans have no right to decide who is worthy of that or not.

Rmember,"the dead are not conscious of nothing at all".

^^^^true

It is interesting that Revelation 20:14 speaks about death and HELL being cast into the lake of fire...So it stands to reason hell is not a fiery place.

Why didn't Jesus just die for the sin of unbelief also. Why every one else except that last one?

This is a relatively uncomplicated Bible truth ... that seems to offend the 'sensibilities' of many people -- who apparently think that they have a better ('more humane') approach to running the universe.

How someone could know that eternal punishment is a reality(which of cause it isn't) and then choose to go there, is absurd to say the least.

Along with Revelation 20:14.. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death..

Of interest is Acts 2:27 and Acts 2:31...

Of whom was the Bible writer speaking of in Acts 2:27 and Acts 2:31?

If hell is a fiery place of eternal torment for the unbelievers

Why would the person mentioned in Acts 2:27 and Acts 2:31 be in such a place?

Acts 2:27, "Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption."

Acts 2:31, "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."

Because without faith, it's impossible to please God. A relationship with Him is based on faith in Him and the promises in His Word.
