Love within the Trinity is reciprocating. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father. Therefor all who are in the Son also love the Father because as Paul said, "It is not I [the carnal man] but Christ in me [my new nature]". To love the Father is to love all in the various ways that love can express itself.
You think the most important theme of the Bible is that God is a glory-hound??? No wonder I have such difficulty relating to your theology. God needs no glory . . . and certainly not from us.
That would be Jesus Christ. No one can come to the Father but by Jesus. Jesus is the solution to the sin problem, the means of salvation, the agent of creation, and the reason for salvation because the purpose for which we are saved is to be conformed to the image of Christ so that He would be the firstborn of many brethren.
Col. 1:16 For by Him (the pre-incarnate Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17] He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Rom. 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

John 1:1
The writer of John attempt to bridge the calm and cultural discussion of the logos what's that of the new Christian movement.
The Stoics understood logos to mean the Christ within. In other words long before the biblical story of Christ, the Stoics knew that was an inane drive for man to be spiritual.
Just as man was part of nature, nature was part of a man. As such the logos what part of everyone, and John attempted to use this principle in selling a historical Christ vs one who was a spiritual one.
It has been a very simple and effective method of addressing the spiritual needs of humans. It unfortunately was hi jacked by fundamentalists and literalists of the Bible. John was the nonsynoptical writer of the gospels, he wrote from a spiritual perspective, and scholars agree that at least his gospel should be taken metaphorically.

The only vain glory is the pride of man. The Glory of God is the beauty of His righteousness. We receive of His Glory when we receive His Son. God's Glory is void of pride, full of love and wisdom and shares all with all who are willing to receive.
