“For by works of the law no human being will be justified in His sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.” (Rom 3:20)

Righteousness has been imputed to us – sin has no power over us. That means that positionally you have been removed from the state of sin into the state of righteousness - not by your works, but by faith in His work.

“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.” (Rom:6:14) People read that and apply law to themselves, but see it through the eyes of grace! God doesn't see your sin because He sees the Blood. We should no longer be sin conscious but be conscious of God’s righteousness.

“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.” (Rom 4:7-8)

We are blessed, not by our works, efforts or accomplishments, but only by beholding Jesus and his finished work on the cross. In fact, our righteousness is filth in light of God's holiness. (Isa 64:6) We are truly blessed because all our sins are eternally forgotten, never to be remembered anymore.

How is it possible that the grace of God frees us from living in sin? “For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteousness requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” (Rom 8:2-4)

By Jesus fulfilling the righteous requirement of the law, He took all our sins upon Him and we appropriated his righteousness by faith.

Then the lawmungers scream, "There can be no sin in the camp!" To which the response must be: "Quit eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil." ”For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Gal 5:1)

Is sin real? Of course - but when we fall, let us not fall from grace! We have an advocate with the Father, so trust in Him and don't focus on your failures...that, my friends is overcoming. Condemnation and sin consciousness are crippling lives today due to people’s lack of understanding of truth and not understanding their position in Christ; however, there is hope for the believer through the grace and truth that comes through Jesus. It was law that came through Moses, but the truth came through Christ!

The result is we will actually see fruit of righteousness. Sin consciousness actually produces sin - "The sting of death is sin, and the strength (power) of sin is the law". (1 Cor 15:56) Did we read that correctly? Sin's power is actually in our consciousness of the law.

Ok, if it were one on one I'd nitpick the details..... I'm trying to be better about that.

But the Title and the basic thought you have is EXACTLY DEAD ON!!!!!

I never thought I'd see it from someone else's mouth. Errr post....

I've been banned from boards simply for saying it.
WHICH makes moderators here, btw, exeptional. They do an impossible job on ANY forum, but on here they have a super balance. HUZAH! to them.

I'll second that - June and MB are all stars at their craft, or whatever you call this.

Anyway, I believe that condemnation is crippling believers throughout the kingdom, and preventing them from living an overcoming life. We all battle it, and even when we learn to forgive ourselves and get back to running the race, there's the process of growing into an intimate relationship with the One who forgives others with a love that does not keep record of wrongs - that would be agape love.

SEE? For all we've disagreed on so far, I never thought I'd hear some of this from you. Proof if you keep talking long enough, you'll figure someone out. AS LONG AS YOU LISTEN AS LONG OR LONGER!
<<<<<LISTEN>>>>>>
Is the single most missing thing in the Church today. Too much talking and tellin'.

Lol .

True believing (the kind Abraham was known for) is likened unto God's "seeing that which is not as though it was" (Rom 4:17) God didn't walk into the pre-creation scene and say, "It sure is dark!"

He said, "Let there be light", and by faith(?) there was light.

God later asked Abraham what he saw, and he must've been tempted to say "An old, wore out body on both her and me"; but instead he answered "I see sand, and I see stars!"

His seed became like the sand and stars.

So yes, we can live in a Disney World mansion and bear fruit for the kingdom - if we see by faith that His spirit will rule there as well.
