When you spend to much time reading and following the menu's of men.
You will never have time to enjoy the banquets within this life.

"Live today, rejoice and be glad in it; for tomorrow you may die."

According to the common tradition of Religion , Christianity, Islam , and Judaism are the only religions of the world that are never considered to be of the Pagan ... So to claim any tradition of these three religions to be pagan is already error ..................See Sunday is the traditional day of Worship for Christians as the Saviour Lord Jesus was raised from the dead on the first day of the week after the Sabbath , as Jesus himself said that He alone is the Lord of the Sabbath , and this means that He alone will judge to believer of the Commandment , `remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy to the Lord `............ The Lord Himself claims that the legalism of the tradition of the bible and other religions to be observed without faith from the Word of God , through the covenant which they are will not be received as legalism is faithlessness ...So to claim that Judaism Sabbath is the true Sabbath and must be observed is legalism ,.............. So people with different Sabbaths will be received by Jesus in their Worship whether it is Wednesday for people who have to work of Sunday , or Saturday or Friday or Monday or whatever , does not matter what day it is , but that one day per week is put aside and observed is the call from God

Psalm 68:4

New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol Him who rides on the clouds,[a]
By His name YAH,
And rejoice before Him.

The NT was not written in Hebrew. Why would you refer to him that way? The only place we see his name written is in Greek.

Explain why Christmas emulates the pagan celebrations of the revival of the sun from the winter solstice. Explain why to this day easter is set by the first moon after the spring equinox. Explain why christians have adapted the pagan customs of Christmas trees and yule logs?

It's a mistake to say that our modern Christmas traditions come directly from pre-Christian paganism, said Ronald Hutton, a historian at Bristol University in the United Kingdom. However, he said, you'd be equally wrong to believe that Christmas is a modern phenomenon. As Christians spread their religion into Europe in the first centuries A.D., they ran into people living by a variety of local and regional religious creeds.Christian missionaries lumped all of these people together under the umbrella term "pagan," said Philip Shaw, who researches early Germanic languages and Old English at Leicester University in the U.K. The term is related to the Latin word meaning "field," Shaw told LiveScience. The lingual link makes sense, he said, because early European Christianity was an urban phenomenon, while paganism persisted longer in rustic areas.Early Christians wanted to convert pagans, Shaw said, but they were also fascinated by their traditions.

Passover is celebrated by those of Jewish faith. Linked with the book of Exodus, Passover commemorates when the Jewish people were freed from slavery to Egypt. The day falls on the first full moon after the northern spring equinox and lasts for seven days.
Quote:
Celebrated by Christians, Easter takes its roots from the Jewish Passover festival. The celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion, Easter falls at the end of Passover. Today, many ways of celebrating Easter — Easter eggs, baskets, and bunnies — have risen from celebrations of the vernal equinox and the rise of spring to combine with the religious holiday.
Cupper I realize this is not an all encompassing answer to your question, but hope it helps.

God is not petty or anal. One can worship any time.

This and all the other many doctrines that divide people gives God so much leeway for sending pretty much every Christian to hell for all eternity with all the non-Christians -- a win-win for God and Satan, huh?

Explain why God would be opposed to us enjoying the celebration of life, the change of seasons, etc? Explain why God would be angered by someone decorating their home with an evergreen tree and enjoying its aroma? It makes no sense at all that God is supposedly against us finding joy.

The NT is based off the OT, so for Yeshua to mean YAH is Salvation makes perfect sense. How in the world would a man with Hebrew parents that is from the Hebrew tribe of Judah, end up with a Latin/Greek name of Jesus. That is like a African naming their child Hong Li Chung. We have the name of Jesus because that is the name the Europeans wanted us to have. I refer to him as Jesus because that us what is in my bible and I grew up learning, but after looking into the name, I will not discredit his actual name ( Yahushah/Yeshua) when he walked this earth either.
