Well, one would have to be the village idiot to look at any denomination and say, "I'm 100% right and they're 100% wrong." Arrogant, too.

In some sense, the Catholic Church does make an easy target for some of these loons. To be sure the Catholic Church did not help themselves out by its awful institutional response to the sex abuse scandals. That essentially provided validation to every rabid wingnut who ever claimed the Pope was the antichrist. But, then again, no megachurch or large protestant sect has exactly covered themselves up in glory either.

At this point, I'm pretty convinced that when Christ returns to earth, trailing clouds of glory, he will likely look at us all and say, "How could you have all gotten something so simple so wrong? The only people out there who even got remotely close were the Mennonites, and even those guys had that serial rape thing in Bolivia."

Its Not OK to bash Catholicism , as people who do that are under the authority of the spirit of antichrist , as division is a rejection of the commands of Christ , and a rejection of Lord Jesus who has cleansed the people in the Catholic faith ..... Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18: 5 about the people he cleansed and received .....``And who so ever receive one such little child in my name receives me ``

A Christian denomination is an identifiable religious body under a common name, structure, and doctrine within Christianity. Some groups included do not consider themselves a denomination (e.g., the Catholic Church considers itself the one true church and the Apostolic See, and as pre-denominational)

As there are reported to be approximately 41,000 Christian denominations,[2] many of which cannot be verified to be significant, only those denominations with Wikipedia articles will be listed in order to ensure that all entries on this list are notable and verifiable.

I could post the list but obviously it would cause issues with the forum and would be consider poor manners.

Yeah, somebody did post a list of several thousand and you just brushed them off. Since posts are limited in length, do you have any concept whatsoever of how many posts it would like to post the names of all 40,000? People have also posted links to sources that list all 40,000, but you just ignore the links, too. Basically, you just ignore everything that's in opposition to what you personally believe, even it it's 100% factual.

Amen,Katz . . . it is tiresome and dishonest . . . but that never seems to stop those who believe in "lying for Christ."

Over the centuries, Christianity has divided into numerous denominations. Each denomination has its own distinctive beliefs or practices, but they are commonly considered branches of the same religion because they agree on such

fundamentals as the Bible, the Trinity, and the teachings of the Nicene Creed. The way in which members regard other denominations varies from mutual respect and acceptance to suspicion and denial that the other group is really
"Christian."The three main branches of Christianity are Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant (some would add Anglican as a fourth). Most of the denominations that exist today developed in the 500 years since the Protestant Reformation and fall under the
"Protestant" branch.
Presbyterians are distinctive in two major ways: they adhere to a pattern of religious thought known as Reformed theology and a form of government that stresses the active, representational leadership of both ministers and church members."

And this proves my point from your list:
Presbyterian Church of Africa
Presbyterian Church of East Africa
Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa
New Zealand Presbyterian Church of Australia
Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia
Presbyterian Church of Belize
Presbyterian Church of Brazil
Presbyterian Church of Ghana
Presbyterian Church of India
Presbyterian Church of Mozambique
Presbyterian Church of Nigeria
Presbyterian Church of Pakistan
Presbyterian Church in America
Presbyterian Church in Canada
Presbyterian Church in Chile
Presbyterian Church in Honduras
Presbyterian Church in Ireland
Presbyterian Church in Liberia Presbyterian Church in Malaysia
Presbyterian Church in Singapore
Presbyterian Church in Taiwan
Presbyterian Church in Sudan
Presbyterian Church in Uganda
Presbyterian Church in Korea (Koshin) Presbyterian Church in Korea (HapDong) Presbyterian Church in Korea (TongHap)
Presbyterian Church of Wales (also a Methodist church
Presbyterian Church (USA)

And this is from your list regarding Catholic Church denominationsYou'd do well to learn from this Julian.
"The branches of Christ's church have developed diverse traditions that enlarge our store of shared understandings."

All of those so-called catholic Churches you mentioned are not are not in full communion with the Holy See and do not recognize the Pope. In essence they are Protestants using the term Catholic.

That is an absolute lie Julian. They are not Protestant. They are called Breakaway Catholics and Traditionalist Catholics. Autocephalism and sedevacantism does not lessen their Catholicism. It separates them from The Church of Rome only. You need to read and research. I simply can not believe your arrogance. To insult your fellow Catholics.......
