I know that I turned at least 10 people back to respecting the law and that is saying a great deal considering just how hard it is to do.

that drives me nuts, ya. YT is sometimes helpful, if you really like a song, and refuse to listen to music that you can't get the lyrics.

Default The law that Jesus CAME NOT TO ABOLISH is the GOSPEL'S LAW

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself is a commandment of God that had already been given since ancient times, and it is a commandments of Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ is God who became Man, and was Jesus Christ who gave that commandment from ancient times, and He reminds us this commandment again in the Gospel.

But that commandment is not the only commandment of Christ (God who became Man), because Jesus Christ reminds us other commandments that must also be kept and should not be ignored. These commandments say:

".....if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions" (Matthew 19: 16-22

You need to form a question, not make a statement - if you want an answer.

You haven't killed?
You haven't stole?
You haven't committed adultery?
You haven't been a false witness?
You honor your mother and father?
You love your neighbor as yourself?

Your neighbor's needs are much more important than your needs, does he need a place to live or a car, or a job, or your jacket, or your money?

Your the one who really loves his neighbor as himself?

Those first people left everything, they sold houses, husbands and wives sold everything to live in common and to raise money for the widows having no place to rest their heads.

They were seeking a better resurrection.

Jesus abolished many Old Testament commandments because they were only commandments of men. For example the law that commanded "eye for eye and tooth for tooth". Jesus abolished this law. And He annulled it because they were not true law of God but precept of men.
