I am a Catholic and the CC correctly affirms that ALL are saved (to include other religions). One would need to actively reject salvation to avoid salvation. This is more in agreement with a modern view of Christianity. We are not in medieval or even worse biblical times.

Then again, you ignore Christ's encouragement in John 14:2, stating that "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you." Christ also had a distaste for those who dwelled on legalisms.

I don't ignore that John 14:2 was spoken to those who only believed in him .... which has nothing to do with being legalistic.

You're going to be in for one heck of a surprise when you find out just how wrong that premise is

I'm not sure where you're getting this from. The Bible refers to our initial birth as being "born of flesh." I believe we must be "born of water" (i.e. baptized) and "born of the spirit" (i.e. receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost).

Of everybody here ... you're probably going to be one of the top of list of being one heck of a surprised person when Matthew 25 is a reality.

Is this the philosophy of my religion is better than yours?

All religion is man made.

Socrates said I only know I know nothing.

Some think they know everything. Ouch!!
