No, everyone was quite happy to be in Hell. When my wife wanted a purse I'd just tell her she can go to Hell!

Default If God is trying to save everyone from a Hell . . .

If God was trying to save everyone from hell . . . why did He create it in the first place. The logical thing to do would be to just uncreate it . . . problem solved.

Would you say that casting biblical hell into a symbolic 'second death' for the Bible's hell is uncreating hell ?

Isn't the Bible's hell [ Rev 20 vs 13 ,14 ] cast empty into that ' second death ' because it says that those in hell are 'delivered up' [ resurrected ] out of hell so that emptied-out hell is cast vacant into that ' second death ' for both death and biblical hell ?

Isn't it more like Satan and Adam 'created' a self-made hell because before Adam sinned there was no hell ?
Jesus taught the dead sleep at John 11 vs 11-14, so Jesus believed that while he was in hell [ the grave ] that he would be in a sleep-like state until God resurrected ' delivered up ' Jesus out of the Bible's hell.- Acts 2 vs 27,31,32; 3v 15; 13 vs 30,37

Those who are judged as committing the unforgivable sin they will see destruction. [ be destroyed forever ]
- Matthew 12 v 32; Hebrews 6 vs 4-6; 10 vs 26,27; Psalm 92 v 7; Proverbs 2 vs 21,22; John 3 v 16 B [perish ]

He has been doing that, but the doctrines of men are kicking against the pricks within their own heart.

Part of the problem is the corruption of the Biblical meaning and use of Hell into one with Satan tormenting people.

I am always interested to see ANY scripture that speaks of Satan being in Charge of Hell, tormenting people there with the assistance of his demon followers. Of course the only way to find such would be to add them to the text as they do not exist. Now churches that have taught that, are wrong at best and lying at worst. What makes anyone think what is generally taught/believed about Hell is true at all????

I see No one had taken You up on your ^ above ^ offer to post any Scripture stating Satan in Charge of Hell, etc.

Apparently what makes people believe what is ' generally taught about hell is true ' is because that is what the clergy of Christendom often teach the people and the people are often far removed from Scripture. The people let the salaried clergy do the thinking for them. The flock does Not question the paid clergy shepherd, the hired man [ hireling - John 10 vs 12,13 ]

The flock is often Not like the people of Acts 17 v 11 who searched or researched the Scriptures daily to see if what they were hearing or learning was really found in Scripture, or could be verified by Scripture.
Apparently many often see No need to worship God in truth [ religious truth as found in Scripture ] - John 4 vs 23,24

Is it No wonder that Jesus forewarned that there would be fake 'weed/tares' Christians. Many weed or haughty goat-like ones til the coming 'time of separation' of Matthew 25 vs 31 ,32 when Jesus will separate the genuine from the false before Jesus ushers in global Peace on Earth among men of goodwill.

The Bible is not written to give us all the facts and everything God has ever said and done. Most people don't read it now. Why make it bigger. The Bible is written so that we might know God, His will, HIs laws and the salvation he offers to all.

Besides. Let's take Noah and the Ark. If the people didn't believe Noah's/Gods words about the flood. Why would they then believe what Noah might have said about hell. The OP and others have to face facts. In his love, God offers the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. But most people refuse to worship God and refuse to live in His will. If that's what they want, that's what they get. "What you sow, that shall you also reap"

Gal 6:8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Yes, hell and damnation is not on every page of the Bible, BUT if you study the NT, it is all over the place. God clearly warns the world today what it is sowing.
