I particularly liked the priest's section about having our hearing aids tuned to God.
His story related in the last paragraph is so common to us in ministry, “Father, I am so thick that God could never get through to me. I don’t think I should bother trying to hear Him.”
I've read many times on this forum this same thing as Father Moe Larochelle wrote, '"I have often been amused by the fact that, while most people believe praying is a good and wholesome thing; if you say, “I actually hear God when I pray,” people think you are crazy!"'
Let's be clear, Father Moe is NOT saying he hears an audible voice. If you don't get the power of prayer you probably never will. Like they say, "You haven't got a prayer."
It seems prayer is yet another part of Christianity that is being lost. I sent Father Moe an email thanking him for a timely article.
The key to hearing God`s voice is first believers need to pray and talk to God , as God usually never talks to believers who do not pray and talk to God first and always , as Jesus prayed , so disciples of Christ Jesus must pray .......... Believer need to be baptized in water and in the Spirit , as God is spirit and the water is repentances of turning away of sin , which it is sin that blocks God away from people ............. Believers need to read Gods Word , as the more believers read or hear , the Holy Spirit keep an account and will remind you when situations come up , which God Words is the language of Christianity ..............Believer need to help others which will cancel out selfishness , as Jesus can give His followers calling , which Holy spirit will have a role in the calling , and communication with God will bring victory in the calling from heaven ...............believers need to give God honor and bring worship and thanksgiving to the Lord , as every thing Give God the Glory , as it is He who does it .....
