Preterism is one Christian eschatological view. It’s difficult to pin down exactly how many types or kinds of Preterists exist as the labels change. Here are some. Heretical, Hyper, Full, Partial, Modern, Regressive, Normative, Reformed, Progressive Preterist Universalists and Preterist Idealists.
Depending on the source the labels are often interchanged. Some distinguish Full from Hyper, others deem them the identical.

Full and Hyper Preterists believe that after the Roman soldiers under General Titus completed the fall of Jerusalem in AD70 all biblical eschatology was completed. Therefore all the following have all been fulfilled and/or ended.
1. All Bible Prophecy was Fulfilled
2. The New Covenant Came to an end
3. The Hope of Israel Came to an end
4. Atonement Incomplete at Cross ; Complete at AD70
5. The Supernatural Power of Evil Ended
6. The Spirit of Antichrist was Destroyed
7. "The Consummation of the Ages" Came
8. "The Millennium" in the Past
9. Nothing to be Resurrected From Post AD70 World ; Hades Destroyed
10. The Christian Age Began ; Earth Will Never End
11. "The Day of the Lord" was Israel's Destruction
12. The "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ Took Place
13. The Great Judgment took place; No Future Judgment
14. The Law, Death, Sin, Devil, Hades, etc. Utterly Defeated
15. "The Resurrection" of the Dead and Living is Past, Having Taken Place
16. The Context of the Entire Bible is Pre-AD70 ; Not Written To Post AD70 World
17. Spiritual Gifts Came to an end
18. The Comforter Came to an end
19. The ministry to the Jew first Came to an end
20. The tribulation Came to an end
21. The Seal of The Holy Spirit Came to an end
22. The Great Commission Came to an end
23. Water Baptism Came to an end

Former Full-Hyper Preterist, now dispensationalist, Brian Simmons, has written extensively on the subject of Full-Hyper Preterism,

Quote:
"The Preterists take the elements of "past fulfillment" and melt them down into a system which usually results in a cessationist theology. Cessationism is a kind of faith that uses rationalistic methods to sift through God's word, that it may construct a new revelation for today's church.”
Quote:
"That later ages should have more insight on the issues than those who lived through the events I soon recognized as an old error of the scholastics, who make their living confuting the theories of their predecessors. It is according to this rationale that the teachings of both evolutionism and Higher Criticism function. Having identified historicity as an important concern, and one not to be brushed aside, I started studying the church fathers. It was a blessing to find that Hyper-Preterist interpretations were unknown to the early church. This knowledge was like a shot in the arm."
Quote:
“A theology which was formerly one of the great wonders of the internet world has caught fire, and is now burning to cinders.. “
From the Preterist Archives,
Quote:
“It is a common myth within the Hyper Pret circle that "once a full preterist, always a full preterist". In fact, there is a great deal of turnover in the view. Many of those who once strongly defended the view fade away and are never heard from again. Some are heard from again, but outside of the confines of Christianity. It is true, however, that since the birth of systematic Hyper Preterism many have left the view - including the earliest known adherents!”

There has been a few people on this Christianity forum a few years back which debated endlessly of Preterism belief which would believe that the second coming of Lord Jesus already happened and it was about the time of the fall of Jerusalem in 76 AD or something like that , but some of these people changed their views or left the forum ............ I could believe that Jesus already came in His second coming , since the antichrist spirit and the false prophet spirit still have authority in the hearts and mouths of people in the earth today , which Jesus promised to remove this spirit from the earth after the second coming of Jesus
