Indeed. Fundamentalism was confronted.

This forum is for discussing "Ghristianity." there are plenty of forums for discussing your particular beliefs about Christianity without running afoul of someone who does not share your ideas about Christianity. All you have to do is find one operated by people from your denomination.

The biggest problem is not disagreement, it is the disagreeable people posting here.

on one side we have "my omni dude only" and the other we have "religion is so dangerous we must deny science that doesn't help us sell atheism."

I would call that a huge disagreement. I would also state that the people that hold those beliefs must be pushy, there is no other way to push such nonsense on people.

Unfortunately, no, they just wouldn't "debate their position honestly" any more than they do now.

There are still forums like that, but this is no longer one of them.

Yep, the reinterpreted the rules to discourage sound doctrine
and encourage those who disparage sound doctrine. (2 Tim 4:3)

I will agree with that. Other than some of the fundies and Messianic Jews
that post here, most of the posters are disagreeable, especially the
hypocrites who speak of nothing but love in their heart while slandering
Jesus and the Bible that teaches us of Him.

It's dishonest to stick all fundamentalists with the label ''they'' and imply that all fundamentalists debate dishonestly. There are those who do, especially when arguing against things like evolution or an old Earth. I encountered one on a recently closed thread. But not all fundamentalists resort to lying in order to defend their position. And there are people in your camp on this forum who are dishonest. Regardless of theological views, people are people and some people are simply dishonest, and some people have too much integrity to lie in an attempt to refute opposing positions.
