Surely God has better things to do than celebrate Christmas as we, the least of His creations, do ...

That's a silly argument.

I don't call any of those things worship to Jesus. Don't you see the difference?

If someone said, "Watching football is the proper worship of Jesus," would you accept that? If someone said, "Doing anything not mentioned it scripture is proper worship of Jesus," would you accept that?

Yet, you've just said it.

And yet here you are on the internet! Which, even in my decidedly non-fundamentalist state, I can assure you is not mentioned in the Bible.

No Yahovah/GOD does NOT celebrate christmas. If he celebrates any thing, it's HIS FEASTS. The ones
that he said to celebrate.

Read my post #52.

If you claim you don't know that claiming an action is specifically in worship of Jesus is different from an ordinary activity, then you're being disingenuous.

It's all a lie from the pit of hell, and you've bought and swallowed it whole.
I do not know why it seems so difficult for some here to realize that whether or not something "has anything to do with Christ" is determined by the INTENTIONS of those who are doing it! If they INTEND that it be something to do with Christ . . . then it IS. If they INTEND for it to be pagan . . . then it is. If they do NOT INTEND for it to be pagan . . . it is NOT! God relies on our current INTENTIONS . . . what is currently in our hearts . . . NOT some external nonsense from the past.
