IN CHRISTMAS, whom we celebrate ..., superman, aliens, Santa Claus, Harry Potter, or Jesus Christ?

The Christians, somehow always reminded God 's love and the wonder that He did when became man and was born in Bethlehem from the Virgin Mary.

Christmas Party to remember that fact of the Gospel would have one day a year since the Christians in the Middle Ages began to build nativity scenes to remember the Christmas Day . It is believed that San Francisco and his friends were who made the first Nativity Scenes. They wanted to remember every year the birth of Our Savior .

But in the last century (XX century), dreamers men, with very little respect to the Gospel, invented another "savior": an "alien god" who come from other planets, called Superman.

Since then, the fantasy of aliens has soared in such a way that neither in the days Christmas, cease to sell books and make movies Superman and the aliens. In these tales, hardly we see signs of Christianity in their fantastic scenes ...

IN CHRISTMAS, whom we hope..., "Santa Claus", or the Child Jesus? ...

Also, in the first decades of the twentieth century, another personage of fantastical tales would come: "a magical god" called "Santa Claus", flying through the sky with reindeer and sleighs and carrying toys to children Christmas Day .

This "god" come from the fantasy world inhabited by gnomes, fairies and dwarfs the forest, seems the only savior of the world at the time of Christmas. In the scenes of his books and movies, hardly we see signs of Jesus Christ or Christianity. It is as if someone had invented this fantastic personage to make children forget the Gospel of Jesus Christ and put their attention on the tales of the men.

It is true that in the early centuries of Christianity was a missionary who devoted himself to take food and toys to poor children in the villages through which he passed. His name was Nicholas of Bari. He had inherited a large fortune from his parents, and he distributed all among the poor .

Some want to see Santa Claus reflected in this Christian personage, but the fact is that St. Nicholas was a Christian, and history does not speak of magic, or gnomes, or dwarves or fairies of the forest, or any fantasy; only talks about his love for Jesus Christ .

The "Santa Claus", however, is triggered fantasy, and in the tales written about him, appears almost no history of Jesus Christ or Christians, and if present, is very discreetly. It is as if they wanted to show that the teaching of love and peace is not come from the Gospel, but from the mysterious world and magic of gnomes, fairies and Forest Dwarfs.

IN CHRISTMAS, whom we wait..., Harry Potter or the Baby Jesus?...

And why talk of Harry Potter, if almost everyone knows the tale?... This tale of magic and fantasy seem to also find a place in the days of Christmas to promote the magic and fantasy and that children forget the true meaning of Christmas.

All these tales, although they seem harmless fantasies, as some claim, however all these tales are united by one purpose: to ignore completely every sign of Jesus Christ and Christianity.

This fantasy world fights against the idea that God became man, and was called Jesus Christ, and also against the idea that there was a Christian culture that existed in at some time in our history.

If this continue in this way, according to the purpose of many men, disappear Christianity , the Gospel, and all signs of Christian culture... and the world would be fodder for tales, of course, tales that never remember there are poors in Earth and that God commanded distribute all the property among them.

This is one of the things that preaches the Gospel: that goods are distributed among the poor... Will be not this the reason why many men full of greed want to destroy it's memory?...

I think this topic in these days is very important to exchange views among Christians and examine it.

I found it interesting that virtually no Church in my community had a nativity scene or even decorations this Christmas and ... I am in the Bible Belt. maybe they are seeing the truth about Christmas, or their flocks are ....

I was really surprised.

Doesn't the Nativity scene depict 3 magi at the manger scene? ____ If so, isn't that a religious lie?

The un-numbered magi were never at the manger scene because the *star* took them to Jerusalem to enemy Herod.

Hello, expatCA, hljc and other participants. May you have happy days of Christmas.

Everything about Santa Claus, Harry Potter, magic, aliens, and fantasy, it's all invented by men. And the purpose of all these inventions is to drag to the world away from Jesus Christ and the Gospel.

The christians should not recreate in tales invented by men, tales that drag the world to turn away from Jesus Christ.

Rather than recreate in propaganda and films of Santa Claus, Harry Potter, magic, aliens, and any kind of fantasy, remember the story of Jesus Christ with love. Remember and celebrate with love, his Birth. Remember with love and gratitude the coming of Jesus Christ to the world, his Acts, his miracles, and above all, his preaching of the Gospel.

We must worship Jesus Christ and not the tales of men.

Default In the Christmas is no longer celebrated Jesus Christ

IN DAYS OF CHRISTMAS and "KINGS"? Magicians, magic ... or Jesus Christ?

In the Christmas is no longer celebrated Jesus Christ

Some celebrate the "Santa Claus" or "Santa Claus" in the days of the birth of Jesus Christ, that no one remembers Jesus Christ.

And in the days of the Wise Men of the East who came to worship the Child, are celebrated the "Magicians kings" without any reference to the Birth of Jesus Christ.

All those who hate or do not love the beautiful reminder of Jesus Christ and His Birth, change the meaning of the holidays and Christmas day so that new generations lose all love for Jesus Christ and forget what really represent the Christmas .

Does the Birth of Jesus Christ ... or the arrival of "Santa Claus"?

In recent years, the day that has always been celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, is prevailing and widely spreading the tale of Santa Claus, a tale in which fantasy personabound, such as gnomes, delphi and all kinds of magic.

In this tale is ignored Jesus Christ and his birth and many children in the world are being excited with the invention of that in the days of Christmas, "Santa Claus" delivers toys to children all over the world. With this, make children forget the baby Jesus born in Bethlehem, God made Man , whose birth has always been for true Christians one of the biggest events ever known in human history .

The tale of " Santa Claus " has been an instrument that has been used to fight against the memory of the birth of Jesus and the love that we owe him. These days are also used by many to aggrandize the magicians and magic in general. The Gospel story , has been supplanted by tales of magic and fantasy .

The Wise Men from Eastern... or "Magi Kings"?

In Christmas is celebrated on the day of the "Magi Kings" (the Wise Men from Eastern).

There is no evidence that these men were kings or magi who practiced the magic, because in these peoples the greek word "magoi" meant wise.

The old "magi" came from the Medes and Persian peoples. This name came to the Greeks as magoi (magoi or inhabitants from Media). It is believed that they were a priesthood of the Medes. These magi of Persia and Media were not equal to those we know today as practitioners of magic. Were simply wise, either because they practiced people's religion or because they were wise in various arts.

These Wise Men were believed to be observers of the stars, and from Media or Persia, they saw the star that led them to Bethlehem announcing the birth of Jesus Christ.

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him"
(Matthew 2:1-11)

Default Magic is contrary to the teachings of the Gospel

To the people of Israel, since old time, were forbidden to practice magic:

"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD" (Deuteronomy" 18:10-12)

To the people of Israel, before Jesus Christ, was forbidden magic. And in the days of the apostles was also forbidden magic:

"And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver" (Acts 19:18-19)

As we have seen , the magic was had as bad for the people of Israel, and after, for the early Christians. Then, the writing dosen't tells us that were kings or magi, magic practitioners, those wise men from East.

The name "magi" at that time meant "wise" or "priests of the temples of Media and Persia".

In these days of Christmas, we see that on Christmas day, Little is remembered Jesus Christ. And in the days of kings little is remembered that the wise men from the East came to worship Jesus Christ. Wizards of the earth (the practitioners of magic) focus all attention on the "magi kings" but indicate little or nothing, that those Wise Men came to worship Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem.

The war against Jesus Christ and his Gospel began centuries ago, and in recent centuries, the sign of Jesus Christ and his Gospel is going to disappear. Instead, impose to the world, the characters "Santa Claus ", Superman ( "god" of other planets), Harry Potter , and any character tales of magic and fantasy.

Christians who love Jesus Christ , we must remember Christmas like the Gospel says. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and in the days of "kings" celebrate when the wise men of the East, guided by the star , came to Bethlehem to worship Jesus Christ , who, like Child, was born in Bethlehem.

first many“christians”, refuse to believe satan has even blinded them. And he did it because those same christians are selfish, wants to do what they want. Satan as well as Jehovah God and Jesus KNEW the night Jesus were born WASN'T December 25. Even some Christians today knows this ,all one has to do is research in why this couldn't be true. As asked “christians” if Jesus birthdate, (not day since many really don't celebrates the ACTUAL “DAY”), did you EVER read Jesus, his family ,friends and Apostles, while living and after his death, celebrated his “birthday”? They would NEVER respond to my question because that would mean, they would have to say NO! Which would show them, you're NOT really following Jesus, (Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me). And WANTS to do what the rest of the world does, something Jesus and his true followers DIDN'T DO! ,(John17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world).

But what if it was true, and there was much biblical proof Jesus was born on that date. MANY christians today, don't even think 100% about Jesus. The ONLY time the play Jesus, is when they're in their place of worship. Prior and after, they are fixing their trees, hanging wreaths, telling lies to their kids about santa, you guys understand what i'm getting at. NO one seem to want to even believe these things which are lies, ISN'T approved by Jesus and Jehovah God. ANYTHING, that's a lie, is of satan. MANY “christians”, isn't that naive, plus Jehovah gave us ALL commonsense. “what would Jesus do”),“WWJD”, is a phrase which came about from the christendom world. Yet!, when it's brought to them, they find some way to make excuses for what they do. A “christian”, said t me Jesus don't mind christians celebrating dec.25 as his birthday. Sad!, she was so into what SHE... really wanted to do, that she actually lied on Jesus. People really need to stop with this selfish lie. peace

and sorry about the two-sizes but it's not my doing, I wish they would fix these things here!

I vote for Santa Claus because he is always very jolly and happy. He teaches us to enjoy every day of life that we have, even if we have work to do.

None of us work as hard as he does on Christmas Eve, but I never hear him complain, probably because he knows he is bringing happiness to all of the children in the world.

In short, he does what is good for other people, not just himself.

He is a good example for all of us.
