Rut Row - URs desire the salvation of all, including their enemies. Lord, repay them with the same punishment.
Thought I would bring a little perspective to us URs. I'm getting angry a bit now, going to go out and try to vent savlation and love to some of my opposition.

My prayer for the UR folk: O Lord, please remove the verses from Your Word, which speak of Eternal Seperation and punishment upon those who reject Jesus in this life.
Everyone desires it, but urs actually promise it, although Jesus did not.
I can recall a discussion I had with you where you said that God would not get everything He desired. You were arguing against the fact that God claims in His word to get what He desires. Then you used the argument of saying people are not saved now, so He obviously must not get what He desires.

Some of us have learned to understand their translation better.

Jesus said he desired many times to gather His people under His wings but they had refused every time. Did He desire? Yes. Did He get His desire in this particular case? No. Jews used their free will to reject Him. In that case, did he announce He would get His desire? No.
In Isaiah God said he will accomplish his desire and achieve his purpose. His desire in that case was to produce fruit, that the rain will not return to Him empty. His desire was that people would seek Him, and turn to Him, and many have, so it did not return empty. Has everyone turned to Him? No, because His purpose was not to force everyone to salvation, and it still isn't. What did Jesus say? Israel refused to come to Him.

As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
What was the purpose the word(Jesus Christ) was sent into the world ? Even if it was from eternal hell, how you can say having read the above scripture that the word failed, is beyond me. So much for saying if it's in the bible i believe it.

God desires none of us should sin...does he get his way?
