That is so very close to preferring evolution - theory over the bible. The religious theory is that we are cursed with sin before we are even born. Whether we are aware of what we do or not, we are all sinners, even if we don't sin. It is only Faith in Jesus that will release us from sin....uhh...even if we still actually do sins.
However, the evolution theory says that we do what we do through inherited instinct and we only become aware of the 'sinfulness' of it through education. You want to re -think your post or stay on the non -religious take on 'sin'?
And to return to our moutons, Why on earth would Lucifer/satan rebel? Why would he get a load of angels to support him? Didn't he and they know that there was no way they could win? The only answer I can think of is that it was - like setting up the tree and snake scenario to make damn' sure that the odds were stacked against Adam NOT eating the fruit, otherwise heaven would be empty - is that God had his furnaces all ready for the sinners he'd arranged for and he needed a lot of orcs to man them and an infernal overseer, which was Lucifer's 'punishment' for rebelling, for all that he could still have interviews with God and talk him into temptation -experiments, like in Job.
Satan and his angels rebelled because God planned it that he would.
