I have seen in the past some of the folks on here resort to calling people fundies or Sola Scriptures people when people actually try to follow the bible. Also pointed out are certain churches traditions as well
Proverbs 30:6
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31-33,
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Mark 7:13
13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”
John 17:17
17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 10:35
35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Jesus clearly taught that the Bible is ultimate and only standard of truth, So I think it is pretty clear the BIBLE is the standard for truth, not SDA, RCC, or JW traditions, but what is found in scriptures.
Why do you think the truth about God could be confined to a book or an organization? Your own bible says about Jesus, whom many Christians believe is God, "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written."

The Bible is the ultimate standard of truth. Any tradition which contradicts the Bible is not true. For instance, as I pointed out in post #22 of What Traditions?, the Roman Catholic tradition that Mary was conceived without sin is in error since Mary herself acknowledged her need for a Savior (Luke 1:47). Only a sinner needs a Savior.
So the Bible with reference to Luke 1:47 is true, and the Roman Catholic tradition of Mary having been conceived without any stain of original sin is false.
The Bible is the Word of God, the word of truth.

But isnt this the same scriptures that Jesus quoted from, taught from and fulfilled every law that was demanded of him too.

No. The book of John wasn't written at the time. But what does that have to do with the question? Why do you think you could confine all the truth about God to a book or an organization?

You cant, and like you said if we wrote every single thing Jesus did, the bible would be over a million pages, but when Jesus was here he taught from all he had Torah and the Prophets. So if he said that was good enough to be the standard of truth, the bible we have now should be good enough as well.
Do Christian Fundamentalists have all the answers to questions pertaining to the truth?
Because many of them seem to think they do. I've never heard one fundamentalist on this board say, "You know, you may be right." Or "Gee, I'm not sure about that."

He didn't say it was good enough. He brought a whole new outlook.
To summarize God with a book is sacrilegious. Good is MUCH more than a book.
Yes he may be, but he punished those who broke his commands and will punish in the future all those that died and did keep them and repented of it.
